yes you can say that I am attending uni

I'm not 100% sure on the difference between here in the United States versus elsewhere but I think I am attending uni?

Eastriel 10-31-2016 11:18 PM

Michy hot teas are a staple here :) I like standard tea currently with milk and sugar :)

Damia Flagg 10-31-2016 11:18 PM

I prefer tea as well.

Michy - well you go to university as an adult. You know what the eff you want to do in life, so why do you need to study subjects that aren't relevant to your chosen career path? It's just a distraction from the most useful and core part of your studies to your future!

That's very true. Here, colleges kind of act like you didn't learn anything in high school. You typically have to take a lot of courses that you should have learned in high school to get your diploma, like Algebra, English Composition, and Biology. It really feels like a waste of money.

What's for dinner, star?

Chance hasn't been very nice to me today either. I've been saving after two recently, because earlier, I kept losing at anything about the second round.

salvete, uni = college in the States

I think in the united states, college or undergrad is what happens after high school, and university is what happens after college...maybe...

They did have a Reese's doughnut that had a peanut butter filling that actually filled the entire doughnut and was delicious. It was super sweet, though. I could only eat about half of one at a time.

I like cold tea, mostly green tea or sweet tea. I've never gotten into drinking a bunch of different hot teas.

I would rather have Krispy Kreme over any of the other doughnuts.
I think the ones they release just in the fall are my favorites.

actually, what I meant to say was an institution in the united states is only called a university if it offers graduate programs. That is what I meant LOL

I only really drink hot tea when I'm sick. And that's just the black pecoe or whatever used to make sweet tea. Maybe I should try different teas. I tried some kind of rose tea my sister had gotten in India, but I really didn't like it.

sal - Really, we call anything after high school "college." However, we have "junior colleges" and "universities." Junior colleges offer 2-year degrees (associate's) or vocational degrees. Universities offer 4-year degrees and higher (bachelor's, master's, etc.).

In my neck of the woods it is always ice cold sweet tea.
Although I personally love hot blueberry tea.

I hope my little list helps,
But yeah I started school when I was literally 2 weeks in to being 4 (ergo the last time I was preping to go to school was when I was 3), I finished my postgrad this year, so this September was the first time in 20 years I wasn't going back in to education!

They're basically the only ones I eat. They're right across the street. I haven't tried Krispy Kreme enough to compare. I would say Tim Horton's timbits are better than Dunkin's munchkins, though.

To me rose was just an overwhelming smell to try to drink it.
Fruit flavored teas are nice.

Some company makes a green tea with blueberry. It's at Walmart. I've been meaning to try it. It sounds yummy.
