My oldest will walk right up to other kids, she's 5. She is not shy at all. Our youngest, she's 2 - she squeaks and hides behind mine or her daddy's legs. She's super shy, but loves to watch from a distance.

Queenie: Alex stayed home to pass out candy as the girls really wanted me to go with them. I'd have really liked to have been the one staying home, but it was good over all. It worked out.

Oh for sure!! So true! So true! I can't wait to get to meet my two little ones, and get to watch them grow just like their sisters.

I also absolutely love all the love and cuddles that my girls love to give me (and the belly -- lately it's mostly the belly). My youngest is fascinated with my belly. I think it's almost time to get out the finger paints and let her paint the belly. :P

My youngest keeps asking me when we're going to go see her Poppy and I have no idea how to get her to understand that her poppy is no longer with us. How does one tell a 2 year old that someone has died... it's so hard, because it's a concept that she just doesn't get! :(

Well I shattered the bone and fractured my heel also. They had to add hardware to make it whole again. The hardware was faulty and broke IN me when I was 18. They could only get most of it out without re-breaking my ankle so I still have 2 broken screws in my bone. I never got any therapy for that, mind you, because Medicaid in Missouri didn't cover physical therapy. Fast forward 3 years and I moved to Colorado where it is covered, but only with a referral, which I couldn't get because my doctor has the stupid logic that since it's an old injury, phys. therapy won't help me. Fast forward another 5 years, to about 2 months ago, and I finally get her to give me a referral, for my HIP. I get the appointment, get evaluated, and find out that most of my pain in my back, shoulder, and hip is probably caused from the fucked up way I've walked for the past almost 9 years because the borked ankle was never properly addressed and never really healed right.
