Velvet, I don;t but I watched the death scene that everyone was in furore about, I think though excellently managed in terms of being the comics to life, I think it was a mistake on productions part as seeing things in print and seeing thengs acted out is completely different, its triggering to so many different kinds of people. People who signed up to watch the show under its pretext of post apocalyptic zombie horror. Also I was peeved that I could access footage of the death on youtube with no 18+ protection xD

Well, I believe the show is rated TV-14. It isn't rated mature or anything considering it plays on AMC and the worse cursing on AMC are the minor words like shit and damn. I mean yeah, that scene was definitely violent, but the show has had other bloody and disturbing scenes before. It's a show about zombies, not candy and roses. XD SO I don't understand why everyone was so worked up over the gore and violence of it.

I think its because it signals clearly a growing change in what is being shown on TV. Like I fucking hate halloween because for me with disociative based anxiety, its just a minefield of triggers. And some of the things being played from 9am onward is just not acceptable. I still think it was too triggering and diverse from a large amount of the shows other content to be acceptable within the program.
Also I don't know what a lot of that terminology means. But I'm guessing the 14 means its oka for 14 year olds, if thats the case then no, no that scene should not be in there, it seems like its decided on swear words when I think that level of violence combined with the wraught emotions of the other characters makes it 18+ with out a doubt. Also if I'd seen that at 14 I would have been deeply distressed and traumatised.
