How are you preparing the chicken?

I was afraid to get the deli chicken though because what if it isn't cooked enough and I get sick anyways? Yeah I'm lame.

In the oven. I think it was prefried, but have to bake the big pieces for 30 minutes then add small pieces to bake for another 25 minutes. [gonk]

I like to make chicken salad with deli chicken. it's so very tasty.

That does sound good spiced! I'm just hungry for fried chicken for some reason. It smells so goood..... [drool]

Sorry Star, I'm just soo hungry and was like two hours ago.

Not lame. When I worked in the bakery of a local grocery store there was an incompetent woman working in the deli. She put frozen chicken in the deep fryer & served it. One of the girls from the bakery got it for lunch & the inside of the chicken was raw & still frozen.
I've not been big on eating chicken from the deli since then.
If a customer had of gotten that chicken I can only imagine what would or could of happened.
That wasn't her first big goof or last goof & ended up getting fired.

The next time I saw her she was working in a cafe. I wouldn't eat in that place for months after she was gone from there. I don't know if she quit or they fired her.

Dami- Ha that makes me feel better. I'd rather cook at home, so that way you know your food is done and not going to make you sick. I would have done the same thing, I'm glad she got fired.

I was just making a post to you in another thread. Got a few tabs open.

I would rather cook at home if I ever had the time. Miscreant does most of our cooking since I got moved to the other office.
The cafe she was working at was a place I would stop at while on the job, usually to get a cold drink or water & use the facilities. So I think they wondered why I wasn't coming in.

Well leaky pipe is fixed. Now we need carpet to dry so we can move the bookshelf back.
Apparently our well water corroded copper because what copper piping was left was paper thin.
Gonna have to replace it soon with pvc.
