I used to handwrite everything, but I was too unorganized and lost important things. I have my old handwritten notes around my desk somewhere.

I like handwriting, BUT the fact that I can't do big changes, changing scenes here and there irks me. I am a person that always have minor and major tweaks. AND I like the 'find' feature of wriitng softwares. To find the word. |
Yes, but even before they stopped working I didn't feel like simming. I did play Sims 1 for a little. I might get back on there. I'm so much better at making houses on Sims 1 than on Sims 3!
Oh, I know. I used to not have that problem as much because I thought I was so great at writing. Now I'm always changing stuff. |

Sure I do. I'm just more into Sims 1 because Sims 3 lets your sims go out and be up to all kinds of shenanigans when you're not looking. Go and work with a new family, and next thing you know, the sims you wanted as serious and studious or as shy recluses are out partying! My ideal sim families' lives are too specific for the workings of the game.
I was really excited to make fairies, but all they know is playing pranks and throwing parties in those little fairy houses… ._. Sims 1 has so many hacked goodies I can give everyone plenty to do without them having to leave the house when I'd rather them not. Leaving the house on Sims 1 is a lot more controlled than on Sims 3. And there are no autonomous parties! In short, Sims 3 lets my non-socials turn social when I'm not watching, and I don't like it. Oh, and downloads slow down the game terribly. My game takes so long to load, and changing a sim's clothes is a pain to wait for. >< Hard to get used to when you have thousands of downloaded objects in Sims 1 and they only somewhat slow down the game. What did I even do last in Sims 3? I think I had just finished replacing the patterns on an entire premade house (because my own houses turn out square and yucky, boo-hoo) for a couple of fairy sims that have a huge garden. But I feel like I had moved on and was playing with Seasons features. |
You can turn off the freewill for Sims... in Sims 3...
If that is what you mean. My sims will always go to computer playing games IF they have no task on hand. D: So I turn it off. I can only be more god mod than you. So I use NRAAS to fix all 'mistakes' the sims made. XD lol. My current god mod twins, even the art they are painting, keep having them draw the same thing as a collection. XD |
Yes, I keep free will off in Sims 1. But in Sims 3, if you go and play another house, the rest of the world moves on, and that's when my sims who may as well hate people become social butterflies.
It used to work if I had sims I didn't want leaving the house playing games, chatting, playing with blocks, watching TV, doing something they could do forever when I switched to another house. Then they wouldn't stop and I'd come back to them still where I left them. Even after several game days. |
I see! Oh well, I never play other household in one file anyway.

I like to fill empty houses and lots, so I wouldn't like that.
I read somewhere that there's a limit to how many people you can have in a world, and once you pass that, the youngest sims "die" to get back under that limit! o_o You don't see them die; they just disappear and are noted as dead in the family tree. |
I like to do houses too, but I do it in a empty file with no families. XD
Is it? I think you can have unlimited amount, but you have to bear the lag. |
