Lagoon Shallows

Wading into the Lagoon shallows you start to look around. The water is nice and cool, a good break from the extreme heat of the jungle. Now that you're waist deep in the nice cool water, you lean back and lazily float around, ignoring the fact that you were supposed to be looking for things. Your daydream about a special someone is just getting good when you see what looks like a pair of knickers float by. A sudden attack of guilty conscience has you grab them out of the water and hide them before someone sees -- now you're wondering why on earth you just did that, but it's too late -- if you drop them now, someone will think they're yours! Lagoon Deeps

Braving the dark, murky waters of the lagoon deeps you hold your breath and dive to the bottom. Something flashes brightly across your blurred vision. Instinctively reaching out, you grab it and bring it to the surface with you. Opening your hand you see a small festive fish flopping in your palm.

Waterfall

Off to the waterfall! A few people are shaking their heads as you go, just sure you've made a terrible choice, but your intuition proves correct when you pull a large parachute from the waters. This may be just what's needed to help repair the sails!

Cliffs

There isn't much ground to cover at the cliffs and you're reluctant to perform any risky maneuvers, so you conduct a mostly-visual scan for items of use. At the cliff's edge, you spot what looks like rope attached to a stick that's wedged into the rock. Peering over the edge confirms it, and you carefully attempt to pull up the rope. There's no resistance so you get the rope up just fine, but the knot is proving to be a pain to untie. Ferns

Your careful search of the ferns is rather pleasant in that it doesn't involve getting wet and you don't seem to have any pressing dangers to worry about. The cosmic tradeoff seems to be that there's nothing here to find. Unless you count the cute little spider that's hitching a ride on your sleeve. Waterfall Cave

Waterfall cave, it turns out, is really more of an alcove behind the waterfall. It might be a nifty place to use for temporary shelter if it weren't for the fact that it's already inhabited by hundreds of bats. Luckily for you it seems to be their naptime, so you don't have to worry about them flapping and tangling themselves up in your hair. Unless someone spooks them, of course..

Dead Log Pile

You're merrily piling through the dead logs when you recall a distant memory from a scout leader or rugged auntie - something about ticks liking to hang out near dead wood. "Surely it's too humid here for that sort of thing," you muse, but you haven't convinced yourself that this isn't tick habitat and you're starting to feel things crawling on you that may or may not be there. Too disturbed to continue, you halt your search and take the rest of the day to frantically check your crannies for stowaways. (Nothing [:(])
