xuvrette 07-10-2013 05:02 PM

I watch Jackie CHan and Jet Lee for Kung Fu!

Kalium 07-10-2013 05:05 PM

I like Kung Fu Panda too. In fact, I like all sorts of action movies. I recommend The Lone Ranger if you haven't seen it already.

Neora 07-10-2013 05:06 PM

Pandas are fluffy and cute<3

xuvrette 07-10-2013 05:12 PM

I amused me to know Jackie Chan voice for Panda.

Kalium 07-10-2013 05:18 PM

Jackie Chan voicing Po... Hmmm...

xuvrette 07-10-2013 05:21 PM

... Isn't it? I always thought it is.

Snowwhite Rose 07-10-2013 05:51 PM

I thought it was Jack Black who voiced Po. Jackie Chan was Monkey, which is his preferred style (I read that on wiki a year or two back, before I even knew there was going to be Kung Fu Panda 2, which I would like to see.)

We don't watch many Kung Fu movies. I sorta want to see the new Karate Kid (saw the original way back when, saw part of The Next Karate Kid- the one with the girl.) I think Jackie Chan plays Miyagi in that one, though I don't really remember. I know, but don't care, that the kid is played by Will Smith's offspring, Jaden.

I think it was Chris Rock, who worked with Jackie Chan, in some Chinese Cop/American Cop Martial Arts-Comedy-Action-Buddy flick, but I can't remember the name of the show. They made at least one sequel, but I only saw the original.

(Sorry about such a long and rambling post; I'm excited because I won at the chance game, I usually don't, and that makes me hyper and talkative.)

xuvrette 07-10-2013 05:56 PM

hmm... maybe Jackie chan voicing for other characters then. I am not paying attention. I didn't watch the show.
I am not a fan of 3D.

Kalium 07-10-2013 06:03 PM

I dunno about the 3d thing. There are times when it's appropriate, but some themes and styles are better off in 2d, methinks.

xuvrette 07-10-2013 06:05 PM

... 3D I don't mean the 3D where there is pop out effect.
3D as in the artstyle. it is not celshade, but rather smooth 3D.
I am still a Japanese Anime supporter, 2D.

Kalium 07-10-2013 06:12 PM

I meant the 3D artstyle as well. Then again, I tend to pay more attention to the plot of a story than the format and the art style anyway.

xuvrette 07-10-2013 06:17 PM

oh, okay~
I pay attention to art style. It is one of the criteria that please my eyes.

spicedroses 07-10-2013 06:19 PM

I am gonna have to look into the difference to see which one is better, I have never paid attention at all

xuvrette 07-10-2013 06:23 PM

There is really no need to look into difference, if it never bother you.

spicedroses 07-10-2013 06:39 PM

sometimes i would just like to know. even though I have no desire to be a professional art type person. i like to know areas of it. my sister is taking art courses in college and i just like to simply draw. though I am only less that skilled at creating anything.

Kalium 07-10-2013 06:39 PM

I was gonna say just that, but xuvrette beat me to it.
