This dark, mysterious path sure is dark and mysterious. Where are my partners in exploratory crime when you need them?

Usually I'd choose the mysterious dark path, but I just love exploring abandoned buildings! *can't resist*

Oh, of course you can solaria! Don't worry, he just ate a giant spider so he shouldn't try to engulf you or anything.

D'awww. *pets the snake* We used to have a Burmese python. He was 13 feet long before he died of old age, which is actually kind of on the small side for pythons. :P

Oops, I need to check on a couple things - back in a bit! :)
edit: Wow, 13 feet! Seems like something that large would dominate a room. :) Sorry to dash off.

@Belly yeah. He'd escape from his cage sometimes and come up the basement stairs, then come up the stairs to the second floor since hot air rises, and my door was the only door you could push open, so he'd come into my room and get into bed with me. :P But we kept him well fed regularly so I was never in any danger. This was from the ages of like, eight to twelve years old, so I was big enough he wouldn't be able to eat me if he tried. Strangle me, possibly. But not when he's cold and lazy and just wants to get warm. Haha. Even though we kept his cage hot with heat lamps and heat rocks. Silly snake.

Awww I'm sorry to hear that he died.
It's my dream to own a pet snake some day. I'll probably get a ball python since there's not enough room where I live for a Burmese.

It was old age, so he had a good life. And at least we never let him escape into the wild like some of the people that are the reason it is required now, in New York state, to have a permit to own ANY snake. No more dangerous ones, including Burmese pythons, are allowed without special licenses.

They are if you're stupid and you let 'em out! D: That's how NY is a getting an indigenous poisonous snake population. People get these snakes, realise taking care of them is too hard and then let them go.

Nah, I don't think so. The only thing we have around here are garter snakes and even then they're a bit rare.
