hte first rule I've learned is JUST write. it doesn't have to be good. that's what you do drafts for. some times authors do up to ten drafts of a story because they keep building on to it as they work or get further in then they get ideas of 'well this could of happend THEN..' and they do another draft.. you'll never get better if you don't write.. i do that with poetry. I'll write a poem down.. then later, a few months, weeks, or years later, I'll reread it and rewrite it so it sounds better to me..

I managed to get by in school but mostly by following the rules we were taught rather than having any natural talent. I've never really felt an urge to write to be honest.

I had to write a 20 page thesis in French for my seminar class. That was an interesting experience...

Wow, I didn't take any French past GCSE.

Writing my thesis was hard enough in English.

ahh.. that's..sad..ah well maybe your an artist.. a singer.. or a million other things.. 'shrugs'

It was definitely a lot of work, that's for sure. >.<

I'm more of a scientist than an artist, in terms of mindset anyway.

I dunno, I can be a little of both when I try I guess.
