If Bowie if attending, you'd best be inviting me as well.

Costumes and make up for...Lion King? Because heck yah Julie Taymor! She can do no wrong.

---------- Post added 07-07-2013 at 12:32 AM ----------

But of course! You're all invited so long as you bring your goblin masks and gowns!

Truth. She's brilliant!

I make masks in my spare time, so that can be arranged. And gowns, gowns are fun, I'm sure I could scare up something suitable.

Also, I love your quote from Willow! I used to watch that movie all the time. That and Labyrinth...and Legend. My life's goal is to have a masquerade like the one in that scene..... WITH David Bowie please.
Gah, the movies I grew up loving were Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Willow, Legend and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. :P And an animated movie called A Troll in Central Park. I loved Dom Deluise <3

Oooooh, you are quality peoples! I make them on occasion too! It's been a while, but I've got 5 pounds of plaster for experimenting in my closet.

My bf keeps telling me to watch Willow.

Ooooh, nice! I tend to use papier mache, because light weight masks are wonderful. Also done a few with plaster and a handful with paperclay.

At some point, I really want to learn how to make and dye leather masks. I've gotten the making of bracers, pauldrons, pouches, and belts down, so how hard could it be?

YES! Rocky Horror too. First time I saw that, I was WAY to young to understand how dirty it was.

Same. Thankfully, a handful of rewatches took care of that. o.o
Saw a shadow cast acting it out once. Good times.

I've boned a corset once, and papier mache'd masks to my face for an event. That was fun to do, haha. I even made it do my glasses would be able to keep it on my face. :P

Same! I had no idea how dirty the movie was until I got older! My aunt is 8 years older than me (more like a sister than anything) and she's the one that made me watch it all of the time. Haha. I sure liked Chris Aday/Eddie/Meatloaf, though. Haha. I've always loved his voice.

:D There's always bum smacking going on! It's tradition!

Yes! I have material to make a corset, but I need to get steel boning. I just have bodices and gowns and stuff for Ren Faires. But I've got a few masks (one leather goblin one), I can make faery wings, annnnd I have the will to have an awesome ball like that. It shall happen!

I've only seen RHPS live once! So sad.

Oh! And I've seen Meatloaf! His concert was my very first concert.

I wish I could make corsets. I'm rummy at sewing (getting better though). Spent too much time relying on my grandmother to do it for me when I had costume ideas, so I got a bit of a late start going at it myself.

You've seen him live? Agh, was it amazing? My mom raised me on Meatloaf, Cher, REO Speedwagon, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, all of the good stuff. (I fell in love with Foreigner on my own.) My aunt helped me to love Def Leppard. I want to see all of them.

I remember the night before I needed it, I made a pretty awesome Link cosplay for school spirit week. Bought white tights, already had brown shoes, and sewed the green hat and tunic. It was awesome. :D

Alright germs, I am off for the night. It's late here!

Only two more pages till the next Page Prize! I'll look on tomorrow to see who won! Or I'll come back and see that you're at page 15, and I'll cry tears of happiness and there will be two new winners!

Keep talking fancy fun talk! Mad Martigen would be proud.

I just watched the most recent episode of Teen Wolf, actually. Now I liveblog my reactions to thegloryof/Lauren on tumblr. I've actually gained quite a bit of followers for doing that. ^^;
