They always assume that with kids out of high school.

Which was crap..my parents COULD NOT afford to help me with school. But luckily I got some scholarships and a couple loans to help me pay for it D:

Don't forget we can get cigarettes at 18 too!

Zephi: If someone randomly showed me that picture I would have no idea who it was. D:

Maria: I used to hang with girls who had Pay TV/Cable and we used to watch the video channels but I just never felt it. I kind of listened to a variety of music and had a pretty ambivalent response to most. I did kinda like girl bands/singers like Mandy Moore and Sugababes? I have no idea, it's hard to remember but this was when I was younger than 10. In high school my taste got a bit more distinct.

I just ended up not going. Especially when they were refusing to work with me. And this was a community college. Not like they were anything special. I wanted to flip the desk on that woman. Saying that I might as well go for full time student... I HAD TO WORK TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING I HAD. Ha.... yes. I have time to work full time and school full time.... then again... I'm doing it now XD

Even the scholarships weren't enough for me. I think that college was over priced. And it was just like HS there. All the people. Same drama. I'm glad I didn't go then.

Given the discussion turned to female things, I'm glad I decided to leave. I'm not glad that as soon as I laid down, my laptop fell off my bed.

LOL...when I was in middle school, rap was beginning to get REALLY popular. Eminem was popular when I was in elementary but that was it...then it grew to more rap. And I HATE rap....so I was like "SCREW YOU MUSIC TRENDS"! XD

I never liked Nick. I didn't like blonde dudes. Kevin and Brian were good. AJ was next. I think I already knew that Howie wasn't into chicks... Nick wasn't even on my list. XD

Eminem was ok in the beginning. I didn't like him all through the middle. he was just so angry and personal. But, I like him now that he's come back. He's not angry.. but dang. you guys see the picture of his daughter now D: She's like a highschool senior or something T^T I'm so old.... T^T

The biggest music trend right now, I think, is DUBSTEP <3

I'm trying to think was middle school is. I'm thinking grade 6,7,8 for me?
I just remembered my rap phase was grade 5. I can actually remember most of the words to all of the songs from Eminem's Encore album. I LOVED Missy Elliot. I still love her but the phase quickly left, thank god.

I ended up at a state university luckily. A LOT of people I knew ended up in the community college at the county I am from and it really was like an extension of HS. On facebook, people would post about the same drama and have fights and I was just SO glad I had moved on.

haha - you and I are the same now - working fulltime and going to school fulltime D: it's a ton of work but it's worth it in the end :D

I'm so tired of Dubstep. i got into it when it started here in Europe, which is always a long time before America. So I'm burnt out on it.

Missy Elliot was always good. She's a brilliant female artist who didn't get the credit because she wasn't "hot" at the time ya know? So dumb.

LOL - rap is just so...annoying to me. With all the stupid lyrics and the cuss words and stuff. After growing up and listening to Billy Joel and the Beatles and Elton John...I needed music that had a good meaning and told a story1

Hair like that either takes a lot of work or dumb luck. Mine gets nice like that when I spend the extra time to wash it thoroughly. Sadly, it doesn't last.

Missy Elliot... Pan remembers a time when she used to be really famous... But her songs are actually pretty catchy

Yes some are very irresponsible. I think some of that is because some people never have to deal with the responsibility for their actions.

Children never learn right from wrong if there are no consequences.
One lady I used to work with babied her son so much it was sickening. He got everything he ever asked for & never had to work for anything. Now he has 2 children with 2 different girls at he never married & his mom is raising them & supporting them. She wouldn't even think about him getting a job to support his children. One of the children came about while he was in high school, but the other was after he graduated. Last I heard he still doesn't work to support them.

Another gripe...
This goes back to the PC crowd...in children sports games here they won't let a team win. They don't want to hurt the other children, so no one is declared the losing team, everyone is a winner.
How is that teaching anything. In life there are always winners & losers, if you want to win then maybe you need to try harder.

I was not a fangirl, like it wasn't in my nature. I was too stoic for that. But when the BSB was on, omg... I think that's the only time in my life I've ever screamed like that. =.= Amazing where that came from XD And it always was so shiny and his eyes...
