You shouldn't tell them they'd get a disease, with proper precautions, like wearing a condom they could prevent getting most STDs and are almost 100% protected from getting pregnant. Now I don't think they should have sex, but if they want to have sex they will, full stop. Nothing will change that.
All you can do is teach them safe sex.
