I have to agree, when studying other languages you notice how stupid your own can be.

I learn Korean on a daily basis, and some parts of Korean I want to adopt into English, and English to Korean. XD

After a day of learning, I can no longer speak English properly. XD
And explaining things to my teachers about how English works is funny, because thier amazed at how we can use our words like we do.

English is the hardest language possible and to make it worse there are so many types of english, American, Aussie, UK (Ireland/Scotland not included but each also an individual sect.) Canada and Espanglish.

I think Chinese might be harder than English. But I don't really know, because I've never tried to learn Chinese. Still, I hear horrible things. xD

lol I think the Alphabet itself is over 500 letters/characters but after that grammatically is pretty simple.

It's the completely no-bias language designed to be super easy to learn. I believe it takes it's roots from all languages >.<

Languages are categorized by CATs. English is the only at CAT 5, While Chinese is a CAT 4.

That doesn't make it any easier. You have to count strokes, look up radicals, and to find the definition of anything usually takes 3-5 pages of a dictionary.

At my high school they teach Chinese. I'm gonna take it next year if I can. They haven't decided if the teacher is going to stay two years or 3. If she stays 3 I can take it. :) If not I'm stuck with Spanish. xD

Which is very ironic considering it was designed so that no one would speak it for a first language (your native tongue) and the if everyone knew Esperanto as there second no matter what everyone would be able to talk to anyone! You can even learn it fluently in under 6 months >.<
