Terrified (Of Love) - Poems for the World
I felt inspired by Princess Cupcakes' poem thread, so I felt like doing one myself. I may not be a spectacular writer, and my Muse may disappear for days, but I like poems, and I like to write, so I figured, "Why Not?". Feel free to 'browse', or just stay and chat. All the poems are free, but I'll only be taking on three at a time. (and yes, I know that this doesn't look as spectacular as Princess Cupcakes', but, oh well, okay?) Just a footnote - I am Canadian (I don't say 'Eh?' after every sentence, don't ask, okay?), so some of the spellings of the words may be a bit different (for example, colour instead of color). |

Okay, so heres the waiting list and some previews of my work WAITING LIST: 1. inugurl3 2. 3. RHYMING: 1. Delicate as a Rose, Yet as sharp as its thorns, Swaying as the wind blows, Through the playing of car's horns. 2. Help the seed grow, For who knows that it'll be? Will the seed that you sow, Grow into a tree? Will it turn Into a delicate flower? Or will it burn Through a short summer shower? And, as it blooms, Tell me, what is it now? A dandelion that zooms To spread it's seed 'round. NON-RHYMING: 1. Your hair is as a sun's rays, Your eyes the clearest blue, Your skin is like the palest cloud, And your voice is that of a dove. 2.
