@Liquid Diamond Maybe you should train them behind her back. It'd be hilarious if they were her dogs, but listened to you. :XD
|
I KNOW!!! But she was so worried because it "looked" like it hurt. She has an INCREDIBLE house, but I never go over there anymore because of those stupid things.
Kiwi, they're so beyond training ; ; |
I used a spray bottle on my son. He hates water on his face. It worked for the cat, and got my son to stop chewing his shirt. Every time I caught him, I grabbed the spritzer bottle by my desk. Just seeing the spray bottle sitting there got him to quit after a while.
|
@Liquid Diamond Uggg, that bag, huh? What breed of dog are they?
|
Now my mom has to drive home at midnight when she and her husband come home from the airport from a trip, and there's a huge snowstorm.
She has to drive through that storm and had to stay there ALL DAY because my sister didn't want the dogs to be alone. And Kiwi, they're Ridgebacks. |
Liquid: Yeah it doesn't even hurt them. Dogs have tough necks. And you could try training them anyways, it's worth a shot, right? I have seen dogs that are "beyond training" respond very well and quickly to it. Personally I think dogs prefer to have some sort of structure. They are pack animals after all.
|
I need a spray bottle.. I wanna try it on my cat.. she responds to loud sounds like claps right now but she is turning into an arrogant bitch cat who looks at us and goes back to what she is doing.. like trying to kill our gerbils or the fish or getting on top of the rat cages -_-
ten more hearts |
@Liquid Diamond Oh wow, ridgebacks? Lovely dogs, very trainable. Makes it worse she doesn't raise them properly. And boo for needing to drive home in a snow storm.
|
*sighs* I know Jyzavi... but I feel like I now hate all dogs just because of those menaces.. It's pretty sad. I mean, I've always preferred cats to begin with, but I still liked dogs.
Now I don't like any of them because whenever I see them, I just see annoyance. I hate feeling that way towards an animal cause its not really fair :( I trained my kitty to attack her dogs. Charlie (my cat) and I are like best friends! He doesn't need a lot of training either, because he's generally very affectionate and friendly. My cat doesn't need a spay bottle, but I think it'd be hilarious if I used it on my child XD |
Gah, I blame your parents too for putting up with your sister's ridiculousness. :XP
*checks art thread* Whoops. I've forgotten something. Time to turn on my Gimp and get Blobbing!! I like cats better than dogs just because. We think similar and stuff. But I've had bad dog experiences too. It shapes a person. |
D: Well I say you should definitely give the training a shot.
|
I like both.
I love German Shepards, they are such amazing animals, at least to me. And they train very well. I love beagles too. :3 |
i kinda feel that way about little dogs... they are small but vicisous little monsters..
a chihuahua almost killed my cousin when she was 4... i almost killed the dog back.. kicked that thing across the yard i like big dogs like great danes |
*sighs* ahhh German Shepards... now -that- is a dog!! The only good experience I've had with dogs were with German Shepards!
|
I have to agree with you, Sindima.
Little dogs can be trained, and can be great if you do so, but it seems like no one ever does. *sulks* @Liquid Diamond They're so intelligent, so fun! My family had a German Shepard who lived for almost 12 years, which is really good for a shepard. I miss him dearly. :( If he accidently hurt you (say, scraped your foot with those massive paws), he'd lay his ears back and whine at whatever pain-noise you made. He's kiss it if you told him to, also. :XD |
Yeah, those are pretty smart dogs. I like to look at an animal and see the smarts behind their eyes. My roomate once snuck a dog onto the property for a while and it was part husky and part shepard. Had been abandoned by his previous owners. I felt so bad for him that my roomate was just wanting a dog and not taking care of him. So I did. Then found him a REAL home when she left after my brother finally got the balls to kick her out.
|
@Jezriel Husky shepards are so pretty! As are shepard labs. :D Glad you found him a good home!
|
I like mutts best. Tiny ones. And weiner doggies. <3
|
I miss my best friend's german shepherd Bella. Known her since I was in Kindergarden.. whenever I slept over, she'd sleep on the bed with me <3 but she passed away a few years ago :(
LOLOL weiner dogs XD |
Why LOLOL? D: They are adorable and fuzzy and wag their tails like "hello!" and then they cuddle. YAAAAAY!
|
@Liquid Diamond Awww! Out shepard used to try and sit in you lap somtimes, like he forgot he was huge. :XD
@Jyzavi Besides my shepard, mutts have been some of the best dogs I owned. I had a lab/husky/collie/shepard/bloodhound named Bubby, he was so sweet. And those are just the breeds we knew were in him. :XD As far as puppies go, I find pomeranian puppies to be adorable. The almost look like little polar bears. :XD |
"LOLOL" meaning its too effing adorable to comprehend!! I was waiting for someone to say weiner dogs because they're so silly looking :D
|
Weiner dogs are silly looking, but all the one's I've met have been well trained, thankfully. Cuties! =3
|
My sweetie wants a Corgie. A dog I know nothing about. I told him not until we get a bigger house with a nice backyard. :XD
|
