I loved video games and the Internet, but I was also quite active in the outdoors as a kid, too. I always had stuff to do.

I keep hoping that by the time our kid is old enough to appreciate the outdoors, we'll be fortunate enough to find a place to live with a front/back yard. We'll see though. :XD

Gosh that's almost something needed to really raise a kid. You don't know how nice it is to have a big, quiet park here where I can kick the kids out for the day if I want and not worry. They have a huge open space to the left of here which they can play and it's fairly big but nicely laid out so that we're not literally on top of each other. Our yard is really tiny but it still is there.

The other apartment complex was horrid. The poor kids had to play in the parking lot. :/

I remember our back yard from when I was little! ^-^ It was like an adventure everyday wandering around haha~ My mom had this lilac tree that I used to always crawl under and just color pictures for hours in the summer. And at our other house, our yard was HUGE and we used to have fun running around in the big sand pit that was suppose to be our pool. xD I miss those days so much~

Yeah, we have no park. ;_; I think you can take kids up to the school to use the swings and stuff there, but I'm not positive. It's a distance away that kids couldn't just walk to though (not from here at least).

That's why I really want a big back yard like I had growing up. We had woods and all sorts of things to get into and look around. That, and at least with a back yard we could get a swing set and other things.

Roar, I know exactly what you mean! :XD

Chi: Man, I remember my first pet, a black lab mix named Jinglebells...When he died we had a funeral for him out by my dads old garage, and I cried for hours! We drove passed that house once, and some crack heads moved in. The yard looks terrible and there's garbage scattered on it. ):

But anyways, it really would be nice to be able and live your childhood over.

If anything, I wish I could of enjoyed ages 12-19 a bit more. I think I really became an introvert and went through a tough time at school and with my parents. I didn't really enjoy it fully like I should of.

@Izumi
Yeah, I don't miss growing up at all. I think my best ages were "really little" to about 11 or 12. :XD The years between 13 and 20 were definitely not the best. Life is so much better now.

@Roar
Luckily my mom never moved. The house I grew up in is about 5 minutes away, so all of my memories are there, good and bad. xD

Chi: Aww, that's awesome! ^-^ My other home is my mom's house, and I almost constantly feel homesick for it haha~ She lives up by the mountain in the woods a little, and there's a creek that flows right through her back yard. C: We go down in the summer to the waterfalls. They're so pretty~<333 That and her house in eastern washington when in the summer we go to the lakes and just have all kinds of fun. I'll stop rambling now though. xD

Yah being a little kid, I was cute and nothing was really expected of me. Everything beyond that until probably age 24 was kinda rocky. I moved out at 19 and probably my early twenties I spent the majority of it majorly stressed out. Life isn't so stressful with Aaron. I don't worry about telling him something that would upset him. We're really open about our thoughts and feelings, which is refreshing. I also fully trust him too.

I spent lots of time outside playing with friends when I was young (4-8). I pretty much never wanted to stay inside the house and became very tanned from being outside so often.
My family's first house was in a good location because it was in a court so cars almost never went in. I would always just play out on the road. We also had a decent sized backyard.

Young children these days don't play outside that much though. With the Internet and video games they just stay indoors. My sister is much younger than me and loves being indoors.

@Izumi: Ya I would love to have nothing expected of me but that is impossible since I am now 18. D:
It is definitely stressful trying to do "well" in university and figuring out what career you will go into.

I feel yah Min. It's taken me a long time to find out what I wanted to do, and I'm still trying to define it to this day. Don't give up though. It does get better. :3

Oooh, your mother's house sounds absolutely gorgeous! It must be good to get back and visit on occasion then. :3

@Min
My nephew lives for the indoors, though at least in the summer when we're down at the campsite he'll run around and be more adventurous.

Like Izumi said, don't give up. <3

Hi there Ari! :) I'm alright.

I'm tempted to lay down and play some Pokemon Battle Tower. It's tempting. I'm not sure though. I've finished my game maxing for the day. I'm hoping I'll get some time to play over the weekend while the kids are here just so I can keep myself on a roll...we'll see. It depends on how busy we get.

Hey there, Roar! *waves*
And thanks! <3
I was just looking to make a v-day avatar with my oriental fan that I barely find a usage for. >w<
And I love yours too! Though, I don't think I can find it cute with that mask on! :lol:

@Roar
That doesn't sound too fun. x_x Is it an expected passing, or was it a sudden illness?

@Ari
I'm just futzing for the most part. My stomach is still aching, and it's becoming annoying. D:< You?

@Izumi
I'm also tempted to go lay down, mostly because I feel horrid. :XD I'll go make some soup or something and see if it settles.

Edit: Yah me too, Chi. I'm feeling a bit Blegh. I dunno what my issue is.

@Izumi: Ya, most people switch career paths several times in there life I believe. It takes a long time to truly know what you love and are good at. I just hope whatever I choose to major in at university is something that doesn't drive me crazy. ><

@Chi: It's good that he gets some fresh air when you guys visit.
