Aw, hehe, Chi no I've never been to Maine, but I look forward to seeing it. Practically in Canada. Might as well skip across to some friends in Canada if I go up that far :eager:

The winters suck, but the summers are pretty. I'm looking forward to Spring, as I'm sick of the cold. We've not had all that much snow yet. A few storms, but not like five years ago. I should be considering us lucky. I just hate the snow. Dx

Hime, I think there's a new one this week. Did you see last week's with Cuddy's horrendous day? :XD
That was an AWESOME episode.
One of my favorites, definitely.

Sorry, I'm gonna be slow in response - playing some trivia :p

It's hard looking after someone else's child, even though you love them to bits. It'd be different if he had been there this whole time and last year the whole time and so on. He'd be part of the routine then. It makes a difference. I know I don't have to tell you that though.

EPIC, huh. I don't remember ever taking a vitamin. I just ate everything in sight but mostly vegetables (this is how I found out I like eggplant) and good for me things. Vanilla ice cream IS good for you. It is. I swear. lol

Maine.. brrrrrrrrr. Someday I'll visit but not to stay forever. This desert rat will freeze to death.

Chi, Really? I'm surprised you haven't had as much as here, but then maybe the storms just didn't go over that area. That's a good thing though, I think the snow is beginning to wear itself out down here. I was looking at a chart of Connecticut weather; doesn't go past mid/high 80F up there in spring and summer. It's quite humid though because of the water, and I hate high humidity. Is it similar for you in Maine. Sounds very nice other than in winter.

@Hime
No worries. Good luck with the trivia!

@Maddie
Oh, definitely. It's the lack of him being integrated into our routine that sucks. We've been trying to integrate into his since he's under stress. Still, he's definitely used to his mother and grandmother. I've just kept a very purposeful passive role. I don't want to change any behavior (or try to reinforce a change) since it's not meant to be permanent.

I was nutso about fruit until the midwife told me to lay off so much of it. I've been dealing though. I just need to eat more, period. I'm trying to get back into wanting soy milk and proteins. It's coming back though, so I'm not gonna stress.

Mmm, eggplant. I should make a veggie stew soon. It's loaded with all sorts of healthy junk.

And yes, do visit!!

@Dei
It's similar here, yep. July tends to be very foggy though. We don't usually get over 80s, but about one week is unbearably hot. Er, well, for me. It's usually just mild and pretty though!

Soymilk is nasty. It has that weird plant aftertaste. Bleh.

No too much fruit may spike your blood sugar but some is still good for you. Just eat what you crave. Your body will tell you what it needs.

What else is new in your world?

Hello sadrain :)

At first, I read your username as Mechanic Sparrow, Madeline. xD And I thought "wow, what a awesome username". Your actual one is nice, too, though. <3

@Rainy
Hiya!

@Maddie
I agree. I've gotten used to it in cooking and mixed with stuff like iced coffee drinks, but I cannot stand it on cereal. Cannot.

Mmm, what else is new? I'm trying to think. I have a light class load, so once the boy goes back with his mother, I should be having quite an easy go of things. I am still uninspired for a second semester in a row. I'm bored. I have a great class coming up in May though, which I'm looking forward to.

I'm waiting for a response on my grad school application. Work is work. Family is family. There's nothing really big to report in. How about you?

lol, Mechanical Sparrow is not something I would have thought of, but I agree it is a good username.

Same here to be honest. Got in a bit of a bind for a while with my father writing the kids their checks for lunch... from my account so he overdrew me and cost me a shit ton of overdraft fees (enough to cover the light bill). I'm considering a second job at the moment. I don't really want one but I need to get ahead and try to get rid of some of this stuff I pay for but really could do without.

I've just been sticking to this one so as to not get overloaded. xD

@Maddie
Oh no... that's a shitpile of overdrafts. Does your bank offer any special circumstances? I screwed up for the second time since age 16. I had taken groceries out of checking when I had meant to take them out of joint checking. Well, by doing so, my checking was overdrafted (duh), and after groceries I had about 5 tiny purchases. You know, $3 for coffee here and there. Ended up costing me $180. The bank cut it down to $70 after reviewing my history though.

Is there a second job you could do from home or do you think it'll be an office atmosphere? :/ Would it be longterm or short term?

But I get overlaoded there, too. @[email protected] I am talking about Sellies. @[email protected] My comptuer can stand it. Now I am going to open about 5 threads and keep up with them.
I hope to lessen my needed heart count by about at least 10 more before I head to bed.

I also did common shopping today, I only need about 500-1000 gold more till I have bought practically every single item I want from it. O: Two frill tops and one valentine skirts~ I kinda striked chimas down, since I wouldnt wear~ And I dont know what the valentine ribbons look like when worn since, they are multi-equip so I am not buying them either. >o<

I can't chat in multiple threads at once. I'll get lost.

No, not much they'll do about it so I just had to suck it up and rob Peter to pay Paul. It ended up costing me a lot more because of the other bills that needed to get paid and weren't and penalties and whatnot. I'm coming out of it now but still, I hate being behind.

It wouldn't be long term. Just a little crap job that would give me some spending money or money I could put toward one of the extra unnecessary bills (like the credit card) so I can get those paid and out of the way.

I like the commons this go around. I should go buy them but I'll probably wait until later.

Yay! I'm glad you're getting closer to your goals. :)

@Maddie
Do you have your tax return in yet, or has it already been spoken for?

No I haven't filed it yet. I had to sell some stocks this year or lose them and of course they taxed me to death so I'm a tiny bit worried that I may have to pay rather than get money back but we shall see. I've honestly just been lazy. I might save that until the last possible minute.

3 sets would be a lot, especially since your computer is slower. I'm thinking if you can get on for a couple hours a day, even with school, you can do it. Otherwise you'll at least get one, right? Or one and maybe an extra?

@Maddie
I think I'll be here! See you. :heart:

Evening guys - just popping in briefly to say hi. We ended up getting something from Wendy's and buying the Austin Powers Triology for $12. We're going to cuddle up in bed and watch it. How romantic, huh? :P

Yah that's what we were thinking. One of these days we're going to break down and buy "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" as we both love that comedy too. It's a classic and I've probably seen it a million times and I don't understand WHY I like it...I just do. :P
