Most cats hate having a collar put on. Wouldn't it be consider child abuse if you put a collar around your kids neck? I know some parents put harness and leashes on their kids to keep them close. My cats hate havign collars on so much, one of them runs and cowers terrified to move. Of course, that was a collar with a bell so the bell scared it since she thought it was chasing her.
