Man. . . I'm glad that the Hindus don't take women lightly. They believe that if you mock a chaste wife, you lose all your good karma.

Though I don't understand why they don't want widows to remarry.

The Jewish faith was pretty good to women. some of their leaders were women, before anyone else was doing that.

I don't remember reading about women in the Jewish section of this book.
But so far I like this World Religion class I'm taking. It opens my eyes to other religions around me. But that makes me happy to hear another religion treats women fairly.

I thought it was funny when my professor explained that the Jews over in Iran "mate like rabbits" but it makes sense as to why they do. It's so they can't lose their Jewish population amongst their land.

Yeah, it does sound much better than other religions with women where they are seen as the husband's property or second class citizens. Such as in Christianity where women can't be priests and marry people. I don't understand that. Women actually do a lot of the work in the Churches but yet they aren't allowed to do the work of marrying someone.

I also don't see why the priests can't be married themselves. That's how it originally was before they suddenly changed it. I mean, that's a pretty big sacrifice and doesn't seem fair.

Nope, From destruction and death always comes new life. I think most Death Gods/Goddesses also had some form of creation to them as well.

Oooh, I see. But that's good they are given the right to own property, etc.

Haha, I remember the professor talking about Shiva.
He also mentioned Jenova and my friend and I looked at each other and I started humming the Sephiroth tune and he went, "Mother!"

xD I did that in High School too. Oh Final Fantasy, you influence my life on a daily basis.

I never got into Final Fantasy until after I became the giant Kingdom Hearts nerd that I am.

Goodnight! Final fantasy is one of the most respected names in the industry. Elder scrolls is my favorite RPG series though. Ever since morrowind.

I've only played Final Fantasy Crisis Core for the PSP and the interactions you have of the Kingdom Hearts versions of them.

I've seen Advent Children too. That's pretty much it besides parodies people have made.
