My boyfriend's family had a cat that was like a dog. He was the best cat, he would lay with whatever kid was home sick and would let them toss him up in a blanket. Lawls, one time he even attacked an invading dog and got the dog to run away.

Echo: It takes the whole of five minutes. Depending on the kitty you might need someone to scruff it first, but otherwise it's very quick and they get used to it soon.

my cats terrroize the neighborhood and even attacked a large black lab and ran it out of our back yard once. I love them.

Inso: I've put that link in my favorites. They don't sound too bad or expensive. I clip Max's nails and the kitten, Dribbles, but I can't clip Vampire kitty or Prissy. Those two go outside and need their claws. Well, Prissy refuses to go out now-something happened, I don't know what, and darn near pulled two of her back nails out, and she won't even go near the door anymore. But she's so neurotic, she'd freak terribly if we tried to hold her down long enough to even quickly do her nails.

Now if I can only find the solution for keeping Max out of my blinds! Squirting him is doing nothing. It's almost like he likes it or something. As soon as I squirt him, he runs off a bit and then immediately comes up to me and wants lovin!
