Whoa....rant much Echo? lol. While I had issues with a lot of those same things about the Twilight series. I must admit that overall I liked the books. I wouldn't let my kid read them but for an adult, I don't think they're so bad. The sparkly vampires are a bit silly but every vampire story has a slightly different mythos. *shrug*

The movie sucked though....sucked a lot.

Echo, I love how straight forward you were with your concerns about Twilight. And they are ligit concerns. Not just the same tired old, "But vampires don't sparkle!" thing. People really need to get legit reasons to back up their dislikes. Although vampires don't sparkle and I accept that fact.
