I knew 'Down Under' was somewhere in the mix... :roll: Lol!

And actually, I love the newer kids' movies coming out. They're TRULY artistic and innovative! Haven't seen any really, but I saw snippets of Up and absolutely fell in LOVE. The characters are a lot more well-developed in animated movies these days, and the plot lines a lot more creative.

It just sucks that it keeps getting better and better to be a kid... :cry: Why is the world so cruel!?

I'll be making up tons of 'Back in my day, we had to walk ten miles in the snow to get to school!' stories when I'm old and senile... Guaranteed. :twisted:

There are some really cool ones out there, Facade, but Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was one of the most memorable books of my childhood, and I'd rather it just... stay the way it is, in my head. Just based on the trailers, the film cannot be better than the book.

I didn't like UP that much...it was good for sure, but maybe it was that I'd just finished watching District 9 and then UP seemed...boring? normal? next to it.

i had no idea what was going on when i was at my first event... it was this past halloween one... i was so lost

before the winter one i met vicky in the thread they had before the actual event and we figured it out together... then i met everyone else! and i am so happy i did!
