Actually, almonds still do, one survival tip if your ever in an area lost and need to find food, never eat anything that smells like almonds, high chance it contains cyanide, and high chance you die. Reason to my earlier almond comment.

Speaking of survival, i don't really like Bear Grils, "Man vs Wild" well, not really what I'd trust for surviving, his urban one bugs me, versus the other one history channel did.

Macadamia nuts are dangerous to my puppies, so I don't ever eat them.
