I think it's one of those stupid things they make you waste money on...Kinda like when they make you buy a $100+ textbook and you maybe open it up once or twice for the whole semester. Talk about suck. I wish they'd just say you don't need the book before you find out the hard way. :<

That is why they give you student mentors in vet school. Got out of buying half of my books thanks to mine. She was awesome.

I'm sure I'll find out soon enough. I will say the mouse pad can do cool stuff. xD It wins awesomeness points. But I still would have preferred to not part with the money. >>

I try to avoid buying books. I never, ever read them. ever. Like, seriously.

The main thing that drove me nuts about macs when I worked on them was the lack of a right clicker. XD Other than that, I had no issues, but that damn no right button.

Mmm $500 for a mouse? I'm thinking of spending that on a Netbook, but that's like for the whole shooting match. D:

I might just go cheap and get the $300 Acer...I just want one for 'school' purposes...and mainly so I can sit in bed or on the porch and Menewsha and surf. Oh and in the cafeteria and just anywhere I can with Wi-Fi. I get tired of sitting at the desk, and having crappy Vista freeze up on me to boot. :XP

My Vista takes offense to that, Izumi! We do just fine, thank you!

I now have Windows7. I like it. xD I never actually worked much with Vista. Went pretty much straight from XP (which I liked) to 7 (which I like). D:

I've gotten used to using the Macs at school, but those are desktops. I'm not a huge fan of the little mouse pad thing on the laptop in general, but I've managed to work with it well enough so far.

Well that's when you get a little travel mouse you plug into your laptop/netbook. :XD (I will probably break down and do that as the built in mousepads usually suck.)

XP was fine, but Vista has been horrible. I've heard Windows 7 is like the best of the last two combined, so I'm excited. I just hope it runs a bit smoother. I'm like running nothing in the background and my computer will completely freeze while I'm running facebook. It's only a couple years old and we constantly have antivirus running and auto-updating so it can't be anything malicious...you know?
