Heh. I had to look up the lyrics to the Canadian national anthem since apparently the fans were serenading the winning athlete with it after the judges called it. I wanted to insert a bit of that in my story.

Yes, there was much cheering for Canada and rooting against the Russians.

I have not seen any of the olympics tonight.
What has happened?

Canada got there first home turf gold medal!!! For ski moguls.
And China currently has first in pairs ice skating. and we don't want Russia to win cuz they've won for the past 12 winter olympics

Yes. They also showed the medal ceremony for the women's moguls. It was quite nice.

it's a skiing thing where they skii over a really bumpy course and do two trick jumps during the course.
