How are all of you doing?

That's why I said not the stereotypically romantic stuff. A lot of that sort of stuff I don't really like. I'd much rather a guy surprise me by randomly turning a room in the house into a giant ball pit like the kind we used to play in as kids than give me some overpriced but subpar quality chocolates.

I want a guy who doesn't think that being adults means that we can't still indulge in some of the things that we loved as children. We're adults, sure, but that doesn't mean we have to discard the things we used to love even if they may seem kind of silly now.

Ha! I still love cartoons. *Darts eyes around room* I love going to kids movies in theaters sometimes, especially Pixar and Disney ones. I went and saw "The Princess and the Frog" the first day it came out.

My dog used to lick my arms and legs when I was sad. It had a very calming effect.

Now, even though my cat has a rough tongue, I like feeling him lick my arm when I'm all salty after a workout.

I know it sounds gross, but it's really comforting for some reason.

I still watch carttons too. I actually have some of the Batman cartoon that they showed when I was a kid opn DVD. I have to admit, for a kid's cartoon, it was really well written and surprisingly mature. I'd never realized that there were episodes with people speaking Japanese and subtitles until I got the DVDs. They actually had some expectations of their viewers, didn't they?

I sometimes think that kids nowadays are seriously getting gipped when it comes to the cartoons on TV. Sure, I guess the edutainment stuff is good for them and all, but those are so painfully formulaic. I remember shows like Magic Schoolbus when I was a kid. It was educational, but it didn't treat kids like they were total morons. There was enough variation from episode to episode that it didn't feel like the same story over and over again.
