of topic question to the thread. I want to make this girl that i like something. Im an artisit and shes a photograper. Im thinking of doing a scratch board. should i do one of her like a portrait (would that be creapy)? or one of one of the pictures she took of something else?

i could also try to paint one of the landscapes she has photograped. I will not see her again untill next monday so i have the time to make it good.

also do you think i would need her permission to use her photograpy for my art? becuase it would be pagerising to copy it directly.

portrait? Personally I'd take that as creepy, does she like a certain type of landscape? Like... the woods or mountain ranges? You could always find something like that (somewhere) and take a picture for reference to paint her something of your own instead of painting something she took a picture of.

I don't know what to tell you about the art, Blankgirl. I'm at a loss in that department.

ah i thought it would be more personal if i recreated one of her picures as art for her to keep >.<
the only things i take pictures of are flowers >.< i dont realy take pictures of people or of places (i dont realy go anywere)

It could be, I don't personally know the girl who you want to give a present though so i'm not sure at all. Everyone has different opinions on what's really meaningful and personal, I think you're the final judge on what she would want, though.
