So how's everyone doing with this event? I have one each of the items released so far and am trying to pick up a few of the store items (but that's proving to be the most difficult thing for me so far!)

Hope everyone is enjoying the event. I don't have my computer hooked up at my new apartment yet, so it looks like I'm not going to be able to participate as much in this one. Hopefully I get at least one set, though! :)

Yeah, I tried fighting if off at the end of last week, I could feel the sore throat coming on... and I was doing a pretty good job until Saturday night when I decided to party it up and woke up yesterday morning with a sore throat and chest congestion. haha

My new apartment is going well. I love it. My roommate is a good friend of mine, we have a lot of fun together. She has a little dog and 2 cats that I love. We had a friend over yesterday and drank away our single lady sorrows. hehehe Actually I have been seeing someone, but she wasn't feeling well yesterday and we aren't quite at the point to be celebrating Valentine's Day together anyway, so...

Boston's Lion Dance festival is next Sunday--I'm really hoping Ellie will want to go in and see it--she's never had the experience.

This was the first time I've ever gone. I can't believe I've waited so long to go - I mean it's so easy to get to Chinatown and there's so much good food to eat while I'm there- there's really no excuse. (at least, for me) :yes:

Thanks Rue, but I'm not sure what you're thinking is cool... that I'm dragging the kids up and willingly subjecting myself to freezing temperatures and snow.... or that in a week, I can walk the same street that Sia was taking photos at just yesterday?

It's cool that you are getting up here with all our snow. It's snowing here again actually as we speak.

Aaaah... well, it's been a few years since I've had to deal with snow at all, the kids are just at a good age for a trip like this (I hope!), and you guys certainly have enough snow to make the trip worthwhile (if snow is our objective). It doesn't always snow like that up there! Plus it'll be good to see family and friends I haven't seen in a while (and in some cases haven't even met the kids!).

I just hope we don't have to deal with airport delays and whatnot... that would not be much fun with a couple kids (unaccustomed to travel) in tow...

Yes that would put a damper on things.

LOL. That it would! Hopefully we won't have to "go there" but if we do, I've been putting together 'activity/educational' books for the kids that we'll be bringing with us. And mini-video games (although I really hated to do that since we have been trying to minimize the whole video game thing in the house).


So I have no idea where -or even What- today's clue is!! I've been through every forum and place to chat that I can think of and I'm just not finding the silly heart box thing! *sigh*
