@Rhumb: Sounds like a lovely idea but you'd have to consider it carefully XD Such as shipping and things. As for the contest itself... since you're the one giving it away maybe you should be the judge? Or at least narrow it down to your faves and then have the poll. Just makes it more personal XD

@Kat: I have none of the DVDs, but I have two of the Torchwood books, one of the audiobooks and two Cpt Jack figurines =3 Both Jacks were given to me as gifts and I love them XD

Woah, six pages while I was at uni? Admittedly, mostly about knitting and crocheting...

Rhum, that give-away thing sounds like a really great idea, if you're actually willing to give something like that away and pay for the postage, however high that may be. I had no idea Baker had different scarves either, I guess since he was on the show for so long the original one would've gotten quite worn if he hadn't changed? Was the change of scarves ever explained in the show, or did they just pretend it was the same scarf? Sadly haven't seen much of the classic series...
I love that first picture you posted of him, too. *chuckles*

Man I spent like eight hours at uni. Two hour lecture, then stumbling over to the other campus, scanning some negatives in the photography department and then some hanging out in the bar waiting for an LGBT meeting, which went on quite a bit. I am so exhausted now, I think I will stay in bed all weekend, even if my ankle is feeling slightly better than before.
Also, I'm considering going to Brighton Pride in March with the LGBT society, sounds like awesome fun!

Edit: Also, Kat, if you see this, congrats on making "the front page"! It was about bloody time, your avatar always looks so creative. : )

I haven't been at my laptop all of the time, it's just sort of been running in the background. Thanks ljos. ^^
I know my uncle and his boyfriend liked Brighton, it seems like a fun place to be.

I have the first five episodes of Torchwood series one... However, it is on a UK region dvd so my laptop will no longer play it, and I have a limited number of times that I can switch around the regional settings for my laptop. But I did manage to get all of Doctor Who and Torchwood from iTunes. Just missing the awesome extra-features. And of course, all of the Doctor specials starting with Water on Mars.

I wish that I had brough my TARDIS with me to campus. It plugs into my laptop and can support four usb devices, and as long as I have it turned on, will actually make the special noise that the TARDIS makes I think when I plug something in, or when I push a button. I love my TARDIS.

I can't wait for the next season to start in the spring so I can see what sort of Doctor the 11th Doctor will be.

I've seen those USB TARDIS (when acronyms attack!) things before, they're sweet.

I don't really have that many DVDs myself, just the first series of the new Who and Torchwood series 2 as well as Children of Earth.
Ah, that reminds me I have Sarah Jane Adventures episodes on desktop iPlayer to watch.

Guhhhh, travel plans are so.. complicated! Why does traveling have to be complicated and expensive? x__x

Brighton is great, I've been a few times and I always feel good when I'm there. There's something about it. Would definitely be interesting to spend more time there, the Pride would be a whole weekend, as I've only been for day-trips before.

I have all the new series on DVD as well as a couple of classic serials, but they're all back home. *sulk* I have I think.. series 4 and possibly some Torchwood somewhere on the computer though, for whenever I get an urge to see the Doctor.
And I've seen those TARDIS USB hubs as well, jealous!!

I'd never heard of those USB TARDIS's before... but they sound pretty awesome.
And I'm a bad person ^^ all my doctor who stuff is torrented (and I have a lot of it), except for the twenty books I actually own: Two comic collections, three short story collections, two target, two classic books (PDA's) some other random stuff and six, maybe seven new who books.

Actually, just remembered, I do have the first season of torchwood on dvd.

Sorry for the total disappearance btw, had school.

When I was in England last term, I was soooo tempted to go to Cardif. But the train ticket alone would have been more than $100 US, and then finding a hostel... And the only reason why I would be going would have been to take pictures of a certain fountain and to completly geek out... The tourist shop from Torchwood actually exists, and you can go in it apparently.

When I was there, last summer (me and my mom went all over the UK, and I made her take me to all the Whoish places), the tourist shop had wire mesh all over it, so we couldn't go in D=

But I still got a picture!

In the series, I honestly don't know. I haven't seen a single episode of it but I would really like to.

I talked to an Admin about it earlier today and I go with their blessing when I decide to run it. I just need to get some on-site second and third place rewards. Any ideas? The only thing the winner would get is the scarf. I was going to get the yarn for it tonight but that ended up being a bust. No worries. 4 day weekend. :D

You artistic at all? You could do art prizes. Or get donations from people to use as prizes.

Those are my only ideas.

I really wanna go to Cardiff toooo.. mostly to geek out, but also to be surrounded by the lovely Welsh accent. I know a girl who is studying somewhere in Wales, I think she's in Cardiff.. maybe I should go visit her.. :3

I'm not sure what you could do for second and third place rewards.. donations sound like a good idea, so you could give gold or items?

One of my friends might be moving to Bangor in Wales next year so I could always visit her and then go from there. XD

Glasgow is my geeky music place. I mean they had the best course for me here. Yes.

I had a look at the uni in Cardiff and was a little disappointed they had no art courses XD But I suppose that's for the best. I'd be going on Torchwood/Doctor hunts half the time otherwise ^^ Or searching for a pteradactyl.

Huh, according to National Rail, if I go to Cardiff on a Tuesday (random date) and leave around midday, I can get there in about three and a half hours for £12.50. Not bad at all! Maybe I'll go on a ptaerodactyl hunt this summer! :D

XD Hah, lucky. I can't remember how much it was for me but it was a while ago I checked (and that was when I could get away with child's fare). Might look again at some point when I don't need to save my money XD

The advance fairs are usually more reasonable. I can get from Glasgow to Newcastle (to get the Metro home from there) for less than £10 most of the time.

I once travelled to London for £16. £8 each way (childs fare). But when I tried to do that same again the lady behind the counter told me I couldn't o.o Confused me.

Trainline is good for advance fares XD Wasn't too bad to go to London the second time.
