As for the family thing, i defined it this way when it came to my family:

Family are people you dont get a choice about whether you like them or not, theyll be around at various times in your life.
Friends are the people you chose to be around you because you like their company, they become the family youd rather have around, than the one you were born into.

Like it or not, you still have to deal with blood family on occasion. Its one of the negatives of life you sometimes see comming. Friends family are the ones you fill the spaces in between those time to make your life better!

Those who let themselves be kept under by not fighting back, dont want freedom enough to get it, and by default, are maybe only a bit, wanting to be treated that way. Its not a good thing to see.
