zomg, i love this thread. ^_^ it's the best thread ever.

squid, i can't help but give you my heart (it's super useful and doubles as a pincushion).

and on the topic of squids, there are giant squid plushies. my roommate made one recently for our other roommate and it's awesome - seven or eight feet of rainbow polka dotted fleecey squishy squid. i think she uses it as a body pillow.

Well. It's difficult to say.

I woke up this morning with extreme back pain and vomiting. Like, I couldn't breathe the pain was so bad, and I was just screaming.

So, I got taken to the hospital, and after ... about nine hours all I got was ''There's fluid around the gallbladder, which could be from your surgery, or it could be its own thing.''

So, I'm home. And no pain at the moment. Here's hoping I don't turn yellow, because that would mean I made the wrong decision.

Thanks, Stallion Duck.

I'm sorry to have been there lol

They wanted to keep me over night, but as it turns out, I really enjoy being at home, in my own bed, with my own blankets. Snugging my cats and listening to my mom snore. xD

My stepmother had Gallbladder surgery when I was younger. She had to have a drainage tube put in during the surgery.

Yeah I know about surgery being craptasic. I once had to have surgery to remove a bone cyst. I got to worry for over a month that it might be caner but until the break around the cyst healed they weren't going to operate. It was in the small bone in the tip of my middle finger, a potion that my surgeon had never seen a cyst in before. I found out about the cyst when I broke the finger. Until the Dr. took an x-ray we thought I had a form of arthritis that comes and goes in my family. The one piece of good news the first thing they do to treat a bone cyst, break the bone through the cyst. Most forms of bone cyst will transform into bone tissue after a break. Mine did not. So at least I skipped having the Dr. break my bone for me. But they had to transplant some of my bone marrow from another bone into the cavity left by the cyst which left me with a huge bruise. The Surgeon worrying about a clotting disorder my family has took it form my wrist bone. The bruise went from my finger tip to just above my elbow. (He messed up my wrist doing this. If I had realized in time that this was a permanent thing and not something that it would take time to recover form I would have sued him. The usual procedure is to take it form the hip.) I missed my grandmothers funeral because the Dr.s wouldn't clear me for travel even though we were waiting for my bone to heal before the surgery. They didn't want to wait in case it was cancer. It was protein c, but they couldn't tell that until they were able to biopsy the mass. Their worry was if it was cancer and they waited at all after the bone healed that it might spread. Bone cancer is one scary thing, if it had traveled it could have become leukemia.

It sometimes still feels weird when I type because the bone is larger than it was before and oddly shaped but according to the Dr.s that's a cosmetic thing.
