Swedish Crepes? I've never heard of those... o_o

Did everyone have pancakes yesterday? My housemate and I are going to make some tomorrow since I've just come back from the hospital now. It's his birthday too, as if we need an extra excuse to make pancakes.. : D

I think that if you have the right pan they can be.
I love the dessert crepes the best.

As you might have guessed from the name, this very thin pancake hails from Sweden. Swedish Pancakes can be served for breakfast, but Swedes prepare them for supper accompanied with a bowl of hearty pea soup.
Unlike the thicker American "flap jack", the Swedish pancake is more like the French crepe. Rather than syrup, the pancakes are usually garnished with lingonberries, a tart, or red berry and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Basically crepes with lingonberries and powdered sugar, that's how I like to have them at least.

I wish we had more of the way of a crepe restaurant and bakery around here.

That's sad, places like The DC Fansite were massive. O_o

I love coffee, but I'm happy drinking instant stuff. I'm not enough of a connoisseur to see why Starbucks is so good I should pay £2-3 for it. Especially when most of the drinks go out of their way to not taste like coffee!
