~The Tea Party Garden~

Tea anyone?
post as much as you want about any subject so we can earn some hearts :D

Mmmm, tea! My college just had a tea day today. I tried Tazo Passion, and that stuff is the bomb diggedity! Although my favorite kind of tea is actually this really awesome blend I found at World Market. Goji Cacao Berry from Zhena's Gypsy Tea. Yum.

Kaema 02-12-2010 02:37 AM

Ooh, I love tea! :) Especially flavored tea, which I'll mix together to make even better flavors. xD

So how's Valentine's Day for everyone? :D

N a d a 02-12-2010 02:37 AM

I love tea. My favorite tea is chamomile tea. I feel like drinking tea now. :XP

blankgirl 02-12-2010 02:38 AM

I like arizona tea, because they are so cheap and affordable. ^_^ I'm so broke all I got my bf for valentines was a card and two candy bars!

LadyKnightSkye 02-12-2010 02:40 AM

@happydeath: If I could, I would give you some tea through the interwebs . . . between me and my roomie, we could almost open up our own shop.

@Nada: This conversation is making me want tea too. >.>

Kaema 02-12-2010 02:43 AM

Now I'm craving some tea too! o.o mmm, with honey :3

Cacophonous Cadence 02-12-2010 02:43 AM

Mmmm, tea. Just two days ago when some friends and I went out for some Chinese food I almost drank a whole pot of the Oolong tea by myself. After dinner we were all acting kind of weird so I blamed the tea saying that we were hammered, but on tea.

I also have fond memories of my Grandmother's Christmas Eve teas like getting buzzed off of tequila chocolates or ending up in the ER after being attacked by a dog. Those where the days...

So yeah, Tea always equals good times in my book. <3

N a d a 02-12-2010 02:45 AM

Haha, I haven't had tea in a while. I'm going to make some tea right now.

Kaema 02-12-2010 02:48 AM

Cacophonous: Wow, those sound like good times. You got attacked by a dog? o.o

Cacophonous Cadence 02-12-2010 02:52 AM

Oooh, that sounds like an excellent idea, Nada. But at the same time... I don't have any of that addictive oolong stuff. Daaangiiit.

And to answer your question, Kaema, yeah... I got attacked by a dog. I didn't even feel the wound on my head because of the adrenalin so I was really confused why my aunts were all looking at me with expressions of pure horror. Then I noticed the blood soaking into my dress and went, "Oh. So that's why my neck feels sticky..." I ended up getting several stitches on the side of my head which was really weird because I could hear the wires squeak as they rubbed next to each other as they stitched up my ear. *shivers*

happydeath 02-12-2010 02:56 AM

O_O that sounds very.....umm....disturbing lol I just started thinking of fingernails on a black board because of that......AAHHH!! the painful noise!! *covers ears*

N a d a 02-12-2010 02:56 AM

The best thing about tea is that it is so soothing especially when I'm preparing for midterms and finals. It is such a lifesaver.

Oh, wow. I would be petrified. One of my fears are dogs so... x__x

Kaema 02-12-2010 02:56 AM

>.< That sounds awful!
Sorry for bringing that up!

Cacophonous Cadence 02-12-2010 03:00 AM

Oh man, happydeath, I so know what you mean! The room that I have my math class in has chalk boards on every wall and the person who sits in front of me likes to scrape their nail across it. DX

Tea is definately one of the best medicines ever so I completely agree with you there, Nada. But that sucks about being afraid of dogs. ._.

Aww, don't worry about it, Kaema, I actually kind of laugh at the whole thing now. I even dedicated a few pages to the incident in an autobiography I had to write for high school.

LadyKnightSkye 02-12-2010 03:21 AM

@ Cadence: Well that sounded unpleasant. Sort of like the time I ran through a glass door.

@Nada: Big dogs or just dogs in general? I know quite a few people who get antsy around big dogs.

N a d a 02-12-2010 03:55 AM

I am only scared of aggressive dogs, and larger dogs since they look intimidating. It's an embarrassing fear of mine but we all have fears so...

Cacophonous Cadence 02-12-2010 06:33 AM

LadyKnightSkye: Oooouch. I've never ran through a glass door, but I've run into plenty of them, including one of those "automatic" ones. That time was funny though because I was in a non-English speaking country and the security guard was looking at me like I was some insane white girl. Which is always awesome.

Kaema 02-13-2010 12:41 AM

That reminds me of America's Funniest Home videos, where this one store cleaned the full length window and filmed all of the people that ran into it.

LadyKnightSkye 02-13-2010 01:13 AM

@Nada: It's understandable. I used to think that people who were afraid of big dogs were a lil weird, but then as I got older I realized that the reason that I wasn't nervous around big dogs was because they were all I know. Personally, I can't stand small dogs.

@Cadence: Yeah, that wasn't one of my better exploits. Never run into an automatic door, but I hate the ones at the local library near my college because you have to get right up on them before they'll open. I still live in fear of a repeat incident.
