Wow, I actually woke up in time for the last few minutes of the event . . . . although only because there are lots of fireworks going on not far from my hotel, and they not only make a racket but they echo around the courtyard outside my window. Only in China are the fireworks still going!
Good news: I managed to get every item I wanted during this event! (I think that is a first). I may not have had much money going into this, but I managed to get 18 red envolopes (being sick = lots of time to visit the firecrackers, shrine, etc.) Nice to see you both again - how are you doing? Been sleeping better, feeling less stopped up - and I'm actually sleeping through the night, all much better than a few days ago. If not for the firecrackers I could have slept another hour or two, but oh well. It will make getting up tomorrow morning a bit easier, when I have a bus to catch to a new city.
I only got one set of items, but I'm happy with that. |
