"Too late for that, imou-.." Jacks brow creased as he stopped himself from calling the now male Mei his little sister. He glanced at Mei. "Aniki." He smiled for a moment before that head lowered and he pressed his forehead against the mirror again. "Really though...are you a boy or a girl?" His ears twitched and he was frowning again. He had been too harsh with the angel. "I shouldn't have said such terrible things to that boy." His body had tensed slightly.

Angil runs to the bar, grabs, a cup and gathers the light. "You said any desire right?"

Mei shrugged and answered honestly, “I’m not sure… I think I was born a girl just like Emi….but I’ve never really felt right as either a man or a woman…so just take whatever form I feel like taking…” For a moment Mei tilted his head to the side before murmuring quietly “I’m making you uncomfortable..” and chuckling darkly. Turning towards the door Mei began reverting to the female form so Jack would not feel so uncomfortable.

She stepped towards the door, glancing over her shoulder, “No… You shouldn’t have… so go tell him that…” She suggested lightly with a smile. “Maybe he will listen to you….” She then stepped into the room, trying not to look a little saddened. Mei’s lack of a gender identity …it wasn’t the first time she was made to feel like a freak for it so she assumed that was how Jack felt too…

Akio kept his hands on his back so that the light would stop disappearing onto the floor. "Y-yes.....now.....hurry...take the light.....and call for your brother.......I...I dont have much...time." he said weakly trying to keep his breath under control.

She fills the cup with light and holds it close and yells "Please, I dont want Akio to die!" Then suddenly light fills the room.

"Your physical appearance doesn't matter. You are who you are no matter what you look like." He bit his bottom lip. "I can't face him now. Not after saying such horrible things." A shiver ran down his spine for a moment and he sighed softly. He looked at Mei. Eyeing her up and down for a few moments and then he smiled slightly at her. "I don't mind..if you want to be my imoutosan or my aniki. Either one is fine with me....but right now...I'm going back to sleep." He slipped out of the room returning to the place where he had slept earlier. On the floor under the window.

Mei allowed her body to slip a moment, becoming a he once more briefly and hair shortening to the shoulders. The now male Mei walked to the doorway, leaning his shoulder on the doorframe. “What if I’m neither?” He murmured aloud, his head falling so his face was covered by the soft dark blue river. Shaking his head he walked to the door, mumbling “I think I’ll go get some cider and check on Aiko and Angil….you want anything?”

Akio at first when he heard Angil scream out her wish he gasped the light that surrounded the room all started to get aborsbed into his back, slowly his wing's feathers grew more and more coming back to normal, and they slowly started to stitch back to his skin as if they were never ripped off in the first place. Akio got up and spread out his wings widely flapping them, he looked at her still in shock of why she did that. "Angil...b-but why? why didnt you call out for your brother?....that could've been your only chance to be with him again!" he asked her sadly holding onto her shoulders.

"You'll never be neither, because you can always pick whichever one you want to be...." He shrugged slightly. Curling up into a small ball beneath the window. "My stew...that I ordered...could you bring it up to me, Aniki?" His tail had curled around his waist, the tip of it tapping lightly against his stomach.

With tears still rolling down her face, She smiled brightly at him. "I love my brother and want to find him, but that would mean i would no longer have you. I know, with you by my side, I WILL find my Nii-san again. Then I will have both...kind of selfish I know..." she smiled a bit cheerfully now "Plus my Nii-san would give me a beating if he found out i let you die to find him."

Mei nodded and turned, walking out the door. He let his head dip forward, having never had anyone think of it that way. They always just called him an it and a freak….being she stayed neither… Mei then paused at the door, briefly peeking in on the two and seeing Aiko’s healed wings…a miracle it seemed…

The Male version of Mei then walked towards the bar to grab Jack’s soup and return to the room with it in hand…along with the cup of tea he’d decided to get himself instead of Cider. He stood next to him, holding it out towards him silently. “Aiko…his wings are alright now…” He murmured as much to himself as Jack.

Jack's ears twitched when Mei returned. He had sat up and turned so his back was pressed against the wall and he reached up for the stew. "I like any form you decide to take. A physical form is just another mask to hide behind anyway. The outside isn't so important as some people think." A few fingers trailed over his lips and he had looked away for a moment, then looking back at Mei. "I am glad the angel is alright." He paused for a moment, glancing away from Mei again before looking back at him. "Ne, Aniki, I'll share my stew with you." He smiled lightly.

Akio looked at Angil and smiled softly and yet happily, he let go of her shoulders but kept looking at her. "Then I really will do anything I can to make sure we find him." he said folding his wings finally against his back, he looked at the ground and saw the feathers that had been dragged into the restroom. He picked one up and stared at it. "The past is gone....anything that happens now....belongs to the future." he said happily dropping the feather back onto the ground.

Mei watched him as he spoke, simply crossing his arms behind his head a moment. He smiled at his words… but wasn’t so sure they were true… Who could like ’the freak’ as Emi called Mei, who was neither male or female in spirit so simply switched between the two in an attempt to find the balance the spirit so desperately craved…

At the offer of soup Mei laughed softly, tilting his head to the side and pressing some silky navy strands from his dark eyes. “Heh well… I suppose I have to eat anyway…” Mei said with a chuckle, sitting slowly next to Jack, leaning against the wall crosslegged.

(( Mei's twin sister stopped by, tried to kill Mei and Jack then revealed that Mei is neither a man or a woman and just takes either a male or female form based on mood XD. aaaand Aiko nearly let her escape and almost died due to pulling off his own wings but Angil saved him XD)

Jack ate some of the stew before handing the bowl off to the male Mei. "Here aniki, take the rest of it." He leaned back against the wall in the bedroom and sighed lightly. He really did need to go apologize to Aiko, Jack frowned slightly. He would do it later, soon but later.

Angil wrapped her arms around Akio and held him for a moment. "Itarashai, Welcome back." She let go walked towards the door but span back around. Her usual cheerfull smile back. "Now...Time for dumplings! Come on, I'll buy." She grabs Akio's arm and lead him to their usual table.

Sikura felt bad because she had done nothing to help the other angel. Her eyes went to the others as she felt useless and walked to where Aiko and Angil were. She folded in her wings and looked at them. "How are you feeling?"

Mei nodded and took the bowl but was eyeing him curiously. “Are you sure?” He asked quietly, his dark eyes narrowing slightly. He ran a hand then through his silky dark blue hair, holding the bowl in his free hand. He wanted to make sure the other got all he needed…

As Akio had been pulled out of the restroom with Angil he smiled joyfully running out with her. Once he sat down he looked over to Sikura with a softer smile. "I'm alright...thanks to Angil....I never thought....that an angel's blood could be used to save another angel...hmm" he sat there and thought about how that came about.

Her eyes closed as she nodded and looked at him. "Yeah." Sikura said as she remembered back to her father saving her by killing himself. She waved to them and walked back to the bar and sighed.

Smiling "Maybe I'm just that good."

Akio laughed a little bit as he heard Angil said she was so cool. "Maybe you are. who knows?" he shrugged his shoulders closing his eyes not knowing if it was true or not.

Jack nodded. "I'm sure, Aniki. I haven't seen you eat anything at all since you came in. I'm sure you're hungry." He stared up at the ceiling. He had been so mean to Aiko he was trying to figure out how he could face the angel now.
