ok then, this apparently wasnt an open RP thread. i apologize for any insults, but you should note that in your thread name *leaves*

Slowly Mei walked in, closing the door behind her and leaning back on it a moment. It only took a moment before she walked over, touching the other’s shoulder ever so gently. She didn’t say anything, just sat there with that light comforting touch of Sikura’s shoulder. Then…she waited… It would be up to the angel if she wanted to talk…Mei left it to her..

Angil saw that perhaps she wasnt quite old enough to handle the situation with Sikura, so she left, gently closing the door behind her.

Jack was still sitting at the bar, both hands around his mug of cider and still staring down into the depths of that mug. As if the liquid in it could answer all his problems. but what had she meant. To wish for hope? he was not in a hopeless situation, he was in control of his own life. Such freedom he had. Empty and hollow sometimes, but still it was his life to do with as he pleased. Jack sighed softly.

Angil, looking down at Jack, recognized his sad look. she went down and sat next to him. She rummaged in her bag and finally pulled out a small jar filled with star shaped candies. She smiles brightly at him. "Here have some. I call them Lucky Stars. When I'm sad, I just eat some of these and I feel a little better."

Jack eyed the jar of candy for a moment before he took one of the star shaped pieces. Mumbling a soft 'thank you' before he turned his head away from her, pulled that mask down, popped the piece of candy in his mouth and pulled that mask back up. His actions rather quick as he didn't want to risk Angil seeing his scars. Such things were not for young eyes. Especially the eyes of a girl that seemed to have lived a somewhat sheltered lifestyle. He munched the candy softly...enjoying the flavor of it. It was delicious.

"Oishine? My Nii-san gave them to me before he left. its been a couple of years but I have saved most of them. only eating a few when I'm really sad. i hope to share some with him when I find him." her thoughts flash back to the vision. "I didnt mean to eves drop but what of these 'scars' everyones talking about? I mean I have some on my arms from practicing but its nothing to be sad about." She looks curiously at him.

"Everybody has scars. Some wear them proudly on their flesh, some people try to cover them up. Sometimes the scars aren't visible. A person's soul and mind can become scarred almost as easily as their flesh." He frowned behind his mask and shrugged slightly. "Scars are different for everyone."

She looked at Mei as she smiled softly looked at her. "I was a slave for a long time. I still hear my master's in my head yelling at me..." Her eyes closed as started to shiver and cry. Sikura shook her head as she started to rock. "When I think I fail...i lose control."

"I wonder what kind of scars my Nii-san will have? He has seen war, so there must be many. seen and unseen." Angil stares at the bar blankly, her eyes dull, and her tone becomes wiser than her age. "However, even though you have scars they should not sadden you. Yes the times when you received the scars were sad but they are only scars. proof that you have overcome those sad times. they should make you proud. You lived and you still move forward."

Mei said nothing for a while, simply tilting her head to the side. She waited until the other finished speaking at which point she hugged her from behind, playfully leaning her cheek against Sikura. “the only thing you fail at is taking the hearts your beauty captures… Besides, you only fail at anything when you give up… Now come on and let a weirdo flirt buy you a drink.”

She laughed softly at the last, standing and holding out a hand towards the other female. She simply smirked at her, cheerful as always despite her inner worry. With so many vulnerable people… it was like blood to a shark for Emi…the only question was why she wasn’t here yet…

"Aa. I lived, by not by the power of my own actions. My scars are nothing but a testament to my own weakness and evidence that tells how cruel humans can be." He waved a hand slightly, as if to wave the subject away. Really he didn't like talking about scars, or showing his own. They were not something for him to be proud of.

Her hand went hers as she smiled and stood up with Mei. "Thank you." Sikura said as she looked at Mei.

I didn’t do anything” Mei responded with a grin and a shrug, squeezing the other woman’s hand a moment. She was once again her flirty self and twirled Sikura briefly before walking out of the room and pulling her along with her. “so what shall m’lady be having?” She teased the raven haired woman, glad to have cheered her up a little. She herself thought she’d have a little more of that cider…nice and warm

Sikura blushed as was twirled by Mei and smiled at her. Her eyes glanced at Jack before answered Mei. "Cider is fine."

Jack had turned slightly, pulling his mask down and taking a few sips from his own cup of cider. When Mei came back into the main room with Sikura he rather quickly put that mug down and pulled his mask back up. Clearing his throat slightly and looking around a bit.

Mei continued to smile, those blue lips as always seeming a little amused. She caught the look with ease but said nothing, simply smiling a little wider as she ordered two ciders and pulled Sikura into a seat near Jack before sitting next to her. It was kinda cute actually…the way she stared at him. Handing the raven haired woman a cup of cider she looked up as Jack coughed.

Rolling her eyes she stood, walking over to him and leaning on the counter with one arm while the other reached to stroke his ear in that same flirty way as before. “You coughed? Look sweetheart, I promise we won’t look if it bothers you so much.” She said it with a sigh, however, really wanting to look in all honesty…scars..they always told a story and always fascinated her.

His ear twitched when she stroked it and a small shiver ran down his spine. He reached up to grab her hand gently. "Don't....don't do that.." He frowned beneath his mask and let go of her hand. Both ears twitching a bit now. Jack turned his head, looking towards one of the windows..it was fogged up so he couldn't really see anything outside. "I wonder if the snow is still falling.."

Her eyes stayed away from Jack as she blushed and looked away from Jack. Sikura held onto her cider as she sipped it and looked over at Jack. A light blush on her cheeks as she looked away from him. "Sorry for bothering you before."

Mei grinned at the shiver, her eyes sparkling with excitement. So he did have a weakness after all… she was almost tempted to do worse when he grabbed her hand, tilting her head to the side as she waited for him to let go. As he did so she grinned, leaning forward to whisper in his ear “Alright sweetheart… but if I can’t do that next time I’ll just do worse…”

With that and a soft laugh she slipped away without answering his question from him and back towards Skiura. Watching the two she couldn’t help but find Sikura’s behavior adorable, even if her attraction to both the two should have made her jealous. As she sat next to her and reached for her own cider she couldn’t help but reach up and stroke the other’s cheek, teasing “You look so cute when you do that…” She then grinned but inwardly was worried again. As much as she clearly liked the feline assassin it seemed she would be staying…so that much more to worry for. She couldn’t…couldn’t let Emi hurt such a sweetheart. Until Emi showed up it seemed she was sticking close to this place after all…even if the snow started to clear up.

Jack's entire body tensed when she whispered into his ear. He frowned very deeply behind his mask. He pushed his cup of cider away and stood, that tail of his uncurling from his waist and swaying lightly behind him as he moved towards the nearest window, wiping his hand over the glass so he could look out. It seemed it was still snowing and a bit harder at that. He bit his bottom lip and remained silent.
