Jack was lost in his meal. Such a delicious stew, and he was already nearly finished with it. He paused, the spoon halfway to that scarred mouth of his. Those eyes flicking to Mei for a moment, he almost dropped his spoon. Those ears twitched and he turned slightly so he could finish his meal. Maybe..she hadn't gotten a good look? He was frowning slightly. It didn't take him long to finish the stew now though and once it was down he wiped his mouth and quickly put that mask back up. "Koibito, is the Tenshi angry at me?"

“Don‘t think so.… She’s just hurt and lonely….like a lot of people… And no fair to call me that unless you sleep with me” Mei murmured teasingly, leaning her arm on the cold glass then her forehead on top of that as she stood at the window. She felt so tired for the moment, but it really was no one’s fault but her own. She’d let her thoughts wander, she’d let herself get nervous enough to stir the dragon…. Despite the snow outside people would find if the brushed against her that her body was actually getting…warmer…Mei shivered slightly.

He frowned slightly. "...I don't sleep with women.." He watched her for a moment and yawned. Jack's ears flicked this way and that a bit before stood and stretched. Yawning again behind that mask of his. He counted out the remaining coins he had and sighed softly as he handed them over in exchange for a room key. "Ne, imoutosan, where will you sleep tonight?" He had turned from the barkeeper to look at her.

Mei merely chuckled at the first, saying nothing as she closed her eyes. She shivered again for a moment, saying nothing until he spoke again. Her answer was to shrug her shoulders and murmur “I don’t know….” then in a whisper to herself “In the snow sounds good about now…” Which caused her to chuckle again as she waited out the sensation of being consumed by fire from within. It would pass after the dragon was through throwing it’s fit at being suppressed. For a moment Mei curled her hand against the glass into a fist, simply watching the snow. The dragon was not evil per say… simply prideful…

"I'll share my room with you....I'll even let you sleep on the bed." He smiled at her and tilted that head to the side slightly. He tossed the room key up and caught it as it came back down. "I think the snow might cause a bit of frost bite..but if your hot..I'll let you sleep with the window open. Surely the cold air will be good enough, ne?" Those ears twitched this way and that, obviously he had heard her whisper.

How sweet” Was her rather sarcastic reply but she managed to turn and give him a smile in return. There was a tiny bit of sweat on her brow, however, which she quickly wiped away. She nodded then, however and said quietly “I never turn down a free room.” And with that she pushed away from the window starting towards the rooms. The dragon had reached it’s climax now…wouldn’t’ be long till she could feel her body normally again. She put her hands in her pockets then, saying nothing more as her ebony eyes followed the wooden boards.

He nodded and started up the stairs towards the rooms. That key in his hand as he passed a few room doors before stopping infront of one and unlocking it with that key. He entered the room, leaving the door open for Mei. He glanced over the room. One bed, a table, a chair, a window and a small wash room. He shrugged lightly. "Not too shabby..but not quite worth it's price." He had frowned just a little. "I'll sleep there." He pointed to the spot beneath the single window before he moved towards it to lay down and curl up on his side, his tail remaining around his waist.

“Snowed in rates, what can you expect?” Mei murmured, half chuckling as she shut the door behind her, walked to the window and ignored the bed a moment. She said nothing to him, not caring if he said anything about her being so close. She didn’t touch him, however, simply opening the window and standing there in the direct breeze as she closed her eyes. She nearly moaned at the comfort the air provided her as the dragon finally curled back into it's place of rest deep within her soul…

Jack frowned. Suddenly regretting his decision to share his room with her..but only because of. "Please...please don't look at me...but it's hard to sleep with this thing on...I swear sometimes it tries to suffocate me." He knew she would probably look anyway. He was frowning deeply as he pulled the entire mask over his head and off. Exposing his face and neck. Exposing those ugly scars across his lips and that horrible jagged scar that went entirely around his neck. He shivered but not from the cold. The mask had been set aside, one hand had gone to cover his mouth and the other to his neck, to try and shield that scar from view.

Mei glanced downward as she shut the window, barely glancing at the scars before rolling her eyes. She shook her head as she leaned against the wall nearby, putting her hands in her pockets as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the remaining chill of her skin and the fact the heat was receding. “Oh just stop making such a big deal about those… I‘m not going to make a fuss for a few scars that just make you unique…. Why don’t you sleep in the bed? You can cover yourself with the blankets so I can’t peek..” She responded in a tired way, shivering as she stood with her eyes closed.

"Iie." He curled up on his side against the wall beneath window, nearly touching that wall when she had moved away from the window. He had turned so his back was to her and he let his hands drop. She couldn't really see anything now..except the part of the scar that went around the back of his neck. "Don't like beds anyway or blankets. Too..restraining...Like I'm trapped under something." He yawned. "....besides...I think I trust you..." He had closed his eyes. Like any cat..once comfortable it wouldn't take him long to fall asleep.

“Think…what a ringing endorsement.” She murmured, shivering as her body finally returned to normal. Slowly she walked over to the bed, finally collapsing in them and sitting her bag onto the floor. Mei would sleep fitfully, as she always did. It wasn’t so much like one having a nightmare but one who has been half awoken by a sound and is trying to figure out what it was…this was always how she slept…

Akio had been sitting at the table where Rosa had given the image of where Angil's brother might be. After thinking of where that waterfall might be he couldnt find out anything and decided to walk out to the patio again, he closed the door behind him and look out to the distance. "At least your still alive..." he said softly to himself as the snow blew in his face as well as onto his wings.

Sikura woke up in the middle of the night and walked downstairs. Her eyes went to the patio and saw the other angel outside. She smiled and walked over to him. "Hey." The snow was coming down faster as they stood there.

He turned his head over slightly glancing over at the second angel standing by him, and gave a quick smile and looked back at the snow. "Shouldnt you be resting?" he said with a soft innocent voice.

"You, too." Her blue eyes closed as she smiled and caught some snow in her hand. "It's a peaceful night...with all this snow." Sikura said as she yawned but shook her head. "Sorry, still tired but I don't want to sleep anymore."

"I dont usually sleep....It brings back too many memories..." he started to look down at the rail sadly remembering about the war, he felt as though everything thats happened to the elves was because he was too weak. "You should try to...your wings wont be able to handle flight very long, if your body isnt fully awake.."

She shrugged as she stood there and wrapped her wings around her. "I usually don't fly around. Besides, I won't be leaving this place, I don't think. This is my first time being free in years and I find this place cozy."

Akio sat on the rail and turned around looking at her with an innocent little smile, trying to forget everything bad. "Yeah...I guess this place is 'cozy' if you could call it that...." as he sat there he took off his cloak and dropped it onto the floor and flew to the roof, from there he just laid on the roof admiring the stars in the night sky.

Sikura watched him fly to the roof and sighed as she dumped the snow from her hands. Her wings took her to the roof as she landed next to him. "That was kind of rude. You could have told me you were tired of talking."

He turned his attention to her as she landed next to him and gave a little chuckle. "I'm sorry..." he looked back towards the stars and smiled.

Her eyes closed as she sighed and smiled a little for him. "It's alright. You get used to being alone and abandoned." Sikura said as she shook the snow from her feathers and sat down next to him. She looked at him. "So you're a war angel?"

Akio at first didnt say anything to answer her question, after a while he looked over to her with his eyes in sorrow and pain. "I'm more of a fallen........rather then a war. I rejected god's orders not to join the war when I was so young......he said that the elves had to take care of their own business, but I went anywway." he suddenly started to stretch his wings out widely behind him, and folded them back against his back.

She saw the emotions in his eyes and looked away from him. "Sorry. I didn't mean to upset you." Sikura held her wings tighter to her body as the wind started to blew a little harder.

"Dont worry....you didnt...its just a painful memory." he wouldnt turn his head over to look her rather he just looked at the sky as the snow fell onto his face. "This storm feels like it will never pass."
