Hmm.. lack of community for me too.
Felt like one little fish in a sea of spawning salmon. Swimming upstream and getting nowhere.
It even started to feel that way in our guild. I loved the Captain (still do) but she became overly concerned with new faces and activity in the subforums. I expressed time and time again about quality over quantity but I felt these words fell on deaf ears. I logged in less and less and now it's been months since I checked in.

Goats are pretty gender neutral. I accept the goaty goodness of the muscled one.
Plus what with the giant hammer and all I think it wise not to tease him. ><

That is interesting. Norse gods then to have little things like that. I'm not pagan I just love mythology.

Yup we all are. How many hearts does everyone have btw? I'm now at 14. I just saw Percy Jackson (the movie) so now I want to read the books and look up some mythology. So does anyone know who the lotus eaters are?

I have 50.25 hearts...

I read The Lightening Thief. I'm not sure I liked it... I didn't like how Ares was portrayed.

Thanks! In the movie it was hallucinogenic, and they used it to trap them there. There in the movie being a cacino. But when the trippy part started, my boyfreind leaned over and wispered "It's extacy!" A bit off but the same principles.

I like to do that too. Especially with items and gold.

oh! i remember the lotus eaters! (from the myth, not Percy Jackson) i think the people who ate the lotuses just wanted the others to stay and be high with them, something to deter their mission. or something like that. or it could have been pigs. XD but i think that was the witch who lured men to her and changed them into animals for her to consume or something.

I'm not sure i want to see Percy Jackson or not :/ I'm kind of iffy on the whole 'Artemis has kids' thing

I think all of the gods and goddesses have kids in the movie. I remember Posidion, Aphrodite, and Athena mentioned. But many other demigod characters, so it's possible.

Artemis doesn't have kids in the book. It's explained to Percy about her maiden's vow, so her cabin at the summer camp always stands empty.

I'm up to 35.25 and I need 40 to get the hairpin! Then I don't know what I'm going to go after.

Ah, ok. I haven't read the books, but it makes sense.
