How was your Valentine's Day this year?
 

Now that it's officially the week after Valentine's Day, how did it go for you all?

I had a great Valentine's Day. My boyfriend, who lives two hours away, came and hung out at my place on Saturday and Sunday. Preceding his arrival on Saturday, a dozen long-stem red roses were delivered to my apartment, complete with a vase, flower food, and some chocolates. When he got there, I gave him a nerdy philosophy T-shirt, a jar of soup from our favorite French cafe, and a Reese's peanut butter heart. Saturday night we got a quick dinner in an all-night cafe, and then watched DVDs at home. Sunday (actual Valentine's Day) we got lunch at a nice Italian place (my favorite type of food). And, uhm, of course we celebrated this holiday in a carnal manner several times ;). The only downside is that he had to head home relatively early Sunday evening.

This was my first Valentine's Day with a boyfriend though - all of my previous Valentine's Days have been pretty boring, mostly consisting of hanging out with my friends. Occasionally, partying.
