Simplicity: You just bake a cake, any kind you want any way you want. You need canned crushed pineapple, three bananas, and a jar of maraschino cherries. You use two 3.4 OZ packs of vanilla pudding, but instead of using milk, you mix the two packs with 3 1/2 cups of eggnog, and whisk until in thicken, then refrigerate it for about 20 minutes. While waiting for that, you can drain the pineapple. You don't really need the juice, unless you want to dip the bananas in them before you cut them up.

After that, you layer the cake on the bottom, then the pudding, then you can add as much pineapple, bananas and cherries as you want, and then cool whip. Then, you repeat. c: Top layer is cool whip so you can add sprinkles and extra cherries and anything you want really.

When I make the chocolate one, I use chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, cool whip, etc... and top it with shaved chocolate, chocolate sprinkles and cherries. c:

Is it alright to have more then one type of cookie or sweets in one entry? I was just going to plate all the types of cookies I make and snap a picture.

description of item: Orange/cranberry bundt cake. It's yellow cake with fresh orange juice added for flavor, some cranberries mixed in, baked in a bundt pan of course, and topped with a yummy orange glaze and sun dried cranberries!
entry link/image: Yay for cake!

My mom actually planned for my sister to make the cake, but she was busy setting the table all pretty (which is a lengthy process) and my mom herself had a million and twelve things to do. So she asked me to make the cake and glaze instead! I did everything except zest the orange for the glaze, my mom did that bit.

description of item: So, after seeing this pretty display in a historic house, I decided to tackle a creampuff tower a.k.a Crockenbouche for Christmas! I made a caramel sauce to stick the creampuffs together, then made sugar candy and did a spun sugar web around it (which involves a lot of shaking a spoon of 240 degree sugar fast! I suggests everyone tries it!) Also, I made a christmas cake with homemade frosting and hand shaped and colored marzipan annnnd snowflake gingerbread cookies! Tasty and pretty!!!

I made some cookies with friends yesterday, and I'll put those up in a bit. I didn't get a pic of a few of them, sadly, though. My dad started eating them this morning before I had the chance to take a picture of them. :gonk:

description of item: Cooked lefse and lefse in the process of being cooked

Wikipedia info on Lefse:

Quote:
Lefse is made out of potato, milk or cream (or sometimes lard) and flour, and cooked on a griddle. Special tools are available for lefse baking, including long wooden turning sticks and special rolling pins with deep grooves.
There are significant regional variations in Norway in the way lefse is made and eaten, but it generally resembles a flatbread, although in many parts of Norway, especially Valdres, it is far thinner. In central Norway, a variation called tynnlefse (thin lefse) is made, which is rolled up with butter, sugar and cinnamon (or with butter and brown sugar).
While Lefse is served in my guy's family with butter and sugar, it's not really a dessert. So, maybe not an entry for the dessert category ;)

They're really simple to make, and normally turn out how they're supposed to (My husband and mother in law can't do it though. xD) And you can switch the almond extract for vanilla, or orange or really whatever extract you're in the mood for. Mint might be good, with some green food coloring? hmmm... xD And if you don't want to ball them you can roll the dough and do shapes etc.
Awww, shucks, I'm sorry I saw this so late, but this recipe looks fun and do-able.
I actually dug out an old book of mine and made finger print cookies.
They went faster than I could get my camera to take pictures for it though.
> w <
Next up, I'm going to try and make snickerdoodles, but, I will add this to my list as well.
:' D
