That might be the tricky thing about "the usual" stuff. Holiday traditions are nice and all that, but really, once you do them every year - or even, every other year - they become pretty bland.

basically. They got me box sets fo shows i'll never watch, bags i'll never wear and haven't worn since i was 14 and book to a show i never watch, do I need to go on? D;

No, I'd never think of accusing you of being selfish. It's just... that's such a shame. I guess that, for next year, it would probably be best to make a wishlist.... still. Humn. Maybe they figure you'll still like the things you loved back then?

It doesn't really. I usually make this HUGE list - like, 100 things on it or something. That way, there's no telling what it is they'll choose. Then again, occasionally, they don't exactly stick to the list. *chuckles* When it comes to Christmas gifts, my mom isn't the type who enjoys surprising people, though. So usually it's a matter of going Christmas shopping, and her telling me to choose a couple of things... and it always ends up with my knowing exactly what I'm getting. ^^"

It's about 4 inches. But I'm at my Grandmothers. Though it did snow a little a few days before we left.

Are you planning to go out & play in it?

The snow is finally melting a bit, here. On Friday it was bad enough that the public transportation decided it was unsafe to drive, so I couldn't even get to work. x'D
But now, I think it's only a 4-5 inches anymore, so yay for that~

I played in it yesterday! Was fun! Most likely won't play in it today, the wind is a bit much.

Yeah, I work at a day care, so no matter what there had to be people there to take care of the kids. ^^ In Belgium, most businesses don't close because of bad weather, and they also don't usually close over the holidays, so yeah. We've had far more snow than usual, though. Usually it only starts to snow in February, for us. But I think, during the whole of December, we only had one snow-less week.

A White Christmas is what it's all about~! ^^

Luckily, between Christmas & New Years, the day care I work for decided to close. So I get to spend the entire week lazing about and looking forward to my presents~ <3
The week after that, the kids are all on holiday from school, though, so the day care will be packed with kids who only come during the holidays, and it'll be a matter of finding enough crafting & games ideas to entertain them. ^^
