no, it just snows and then stays until it melts. most of our precipitation comes down in the form of rain in the spring and fall. but we still get a fair amount. it differs depending on where you are in canada. im in southern ontario and we always have snow on christmas. one year we didnt have any christmas eve but it snowed that night and we woke up to snow the next morning.
