I like it, but the battery is really terrible. I have to force halt a lot of programs it automatically runs sometimes. But other than that I'm pretty happy with it. It looks huge in my hands though (That's what she said).

I did get into a slump with romance novels recently. Like, I can't pick any good new ones, but when I crack one open that I've already got, I'll get into it soon enough. Then again I read a lot of Regency-era, so the need to temporarily move to present-day situations kind of helped me get back into it.

@ Crazy, how did you break your tooth?
@ Linnea, what is that series about??
My favourite books of all time are: Gone With the Wind, The Color Purple, Anna Karenina, and The Red Tent.
@ Fauxreal..ya they totally are. My little sister wanted to read one for her grade 7 book report and I was like...0_o!!!!

I hate when I buy a book by an author I know I like that's supposed to be part of a series and then, it ends up being completely different. Like, most of the series will be a regular, real-life type book and then, they throw in paranormal stuff.

the one thing I HATE about reading books in a series is when the author goes and explains things about what happened before ... I mean, I know why it is done. I'm not that foolish. but I just find it frustrating to keep having to read what I already know because I just finished reading the books before this one.

There are very few romance novels that don't feel so contrived and pointless that they kick me out right away. Sex is all well and good, but it needs to be coupled with a good plot. <---see what I did there.

@Toffee, I love Lafayette too.
@ Lilith, I explained the show to my Mom, and she thought the whole concept was stupid.....she doesn't have a great imagination when it comes to things.

lol True. But, the dark hunter series has an excelent plot, and the sex scenes are usually Not the main focus, unlike a lot of romance books.

Kids are getting older these days. And I don't think that would make a good book report. I actually don't like the books at all. I read them to compair to the television show.

In general, I'm not a True Blood fan, I'm a Tudors fan. Too bad the series is over.
First: I don't think I've yet encountered a series that's gone and done a thing like that, thankfully. Or maybe I'm just too blind. I'm a passive reader, not comprehensive.

@ Toffee, I enjoyed the Tudors too. I'm looking forward to The Pillars of the Earth series, I hope they don't butcher it because that was such a good book.

The Dark Hunter books actually have a lot of mystery/suspense and fighting...
Toffee - I was reading this series based on MMA fighters and then, bought a book in the series, and the guy gets hurt or whatever and an alien from the future came and took him to the future with her or something... Ugh. I had to stop reading. I'm not really into time travel. I was disappointed.
