Oh, the Raven duology is really good. They were the first Patricia Briggs books I read, and I just loved them. They were my favorite ones until I read her Mercy Thompson series. lol She just writes really well, and makes good and interesting characters.

Oh I know! I hate when they make really good books and only do a few of them and usually the ending always sucks! I'm glad this one is longer:)

I'm going to have to read those! If it's anything like the Mercy books I'll love them:)

@ Crimson - Yeah, it just harder to get books done in such a short amount, I think. You aren't given the time to really build the characters. And I think its usually always hard to end something. We'll want it to keep going on, either way. So any ending probably isn't going to be very good to the readers. Haha.

And they're not about vampires or werewolves or fae in this one.
Here is the synopsis of it under the two on her book list

This series is set in a medeival setting, with small clans of gypsy like people who often have magical talents. This series focuses on a retired warrior Tier, his traveler wife, Seraph, and their family. The first book can be read by itself, and resolves well. The sequel is best enjoyed after reading the first book.

It doesn't sound very interesting from that, but I really liked it. And the second one was good, too.
