well i dont tend to like the use of both the raven items because it tends to look set like. but you could use a black hat instead.

Yeah, I should try that. I do love the headwings, though. Could care less about the anklewings (they're only in there to lend a little more balance to the overall outfit), but I just love the black headwings, especially the feathers falling out.
