You do know that if you try to force a leech off the wrong way that it could very well barf its insides? And since its attached to you, where does its insides go? ... Did you WANT to know that...?

hmm... chemical reaction. I think salt would dry out the leech. and have you tried sprinkling salt on wound? flesh tends to feel more painful with salt. Leech do not have skin or scale, therefore it hurts them.

I have a reserved forest near my house, and been jungle tracking for 2 times(official trip ones), every time leaflet would mention about wearing socks, bring salt, and those things. That forest had a case that a person only found out a leech in his shoes after 2 or 3 hours and the leech is so so fat with blood.

Besides, the forest also have like the largest ants, average around 1cm long, or half an inch big. Imagine how painful it is to be bitten, not to mention it belongs to fire ant family.

Yup Salt for leaches, we usually mixed it with a little vinegar too.. But that's really gross.....

Sorry to hear about your maleware xuvrette! Only thing I'd suggest is try Avast! AntiVirus, it's pretty much the best free antivirus/antispyware out there.

I think this particular malware do not let me touch any antivirus software in normal mode, I have to restart in safe mode.
