Well, I was really depressed and I jumped off a cliff, but instead of dying I wound up in England. There's snow on the ground here. That hasn't happened for generations in the San Francisco area. Silly people here have a washing machine but no dryer... and it is quite literally freezing outside... and I am out of clean underwear =/ I suppose that's what I get for damn near arbitrarily throwing stuff into a suitcase because I still didn't believe I'd actually end up here.

Everyone always tells me how awesome Boston is, I wanna goooo! I was gonna visit, but then my dad got all, "That's expensive we'll visit Northeastern if you're accepted, blah blah blah." :c

You should come over here and visiiiiit. D: Use logic on him! It'd be better to see if you like a city where you're thinkin' about going to college before you get accepted into the college. Don't wanna go to school in a city you hate. That'd just make you miserable.

Well, if I get accepted, that doesn't mean I'll have to go, that's his thinking. So if get accepted, I can go, see if I like it, and then choose it or one of my other schools. Whih is not a smart way to go about things, but I can kind of see his logic. NEU is my reach school, so I have the least chance of being accepted there, even though I'd really like to go. And that would be bad, if we spent all the money to go visit it for a weekend and then they were like, "We don't want you."

Ooh, true. D: I hadn't thought of that. That makes an awful lot more sense. Spending the money and then being rejected wouldn't be a good thing. :c But I don't think they'll reject you. c: You've got a much better shot at getting in then I do!

I hope they don't! NEU is my second/third choice as of right now, so. <3 *crosses fingers* But I think my projected chance of getting in was like... 50%-ish? So like I said, it's a reach, we'll have to wait and see.

But going to college in Boston would rock, because my graduation gift is gonna be a bike. I have already discussed this with my parents. A nice bike, and sturdy, for getting around campus/the town/city my college is in! With a basket to carry my books! And mud guards, so I can ride through puddles like a boss and not get my back muddy and wet and look dumb! c: Anyway, that would be ballin', riding around Boston on my sweet future bike. I feel like Boston would be a fun city for a bike, in spite of the psycho drivers.

You'd just want to be careful with a bike. c: Iunno if it's different in Boston where a ton of people walk on foot, but drivers around here have little to no regard for bikers or people on foot. :c It'd really suck to get hit.

How have you been?

Lathy- I think that's a general rule for most cities, drivers are scary and will hit you. :c And not stop once they've run you over.
But think how fun it would be! I could get a side car for you (don't tell me I can't get one for a bicycle! >:c) and if like, Jade or someone in your family wanted to come or Ju or my mom or dog was visiting or something, we could get a wagon and put them in there and you could hold onto it!
