I just give up after awhile and agree to disagree because it's a pointless discussion that goes -no where- :3

If a room is empty, I think it should be aired out at least once a week -- but no, I don't see the need to give it sunlight every day unless it has plants in it~

Oh yeah, plants are another good point! I didn't think of that though, since we don't have plants... we have cats who eat plants... xD

My mom is obsessed with keeping the curtains open. But I don't see why she has to open my bed room curtains "for sunlight" every morning. Especially since once I get to my bed room, it's pitch black outside and I have to close it so I can change in my own room.
Ugh.

Plants smell weird. Or rather soil does... Bleh.

My Dad used to do the same thing :/
I just put my closet in front of the window along with a book case beside it so he could open my blinds anymore XD;
He finally quit doing it~
His reasoning was that "the cats wanted to look out the window and were eating my blind away to get to it" XD;

I hateee the smell of soil~

We keep our blinds open about 6 inches for the cats, because they'll bend them all to hell if we don't. xD

We don't open them all the way though, and when we kick the cats out of our room at night, they get shut all the way.

Haha -- a few inches I wouldn't mind -- but coming home from school or from being out for most of the night and finding my blinds wide open -- I was pisseddd haha
Not only because the blinds were open -- but because he would randomly just go in my room and do it and let the cats in -- after I purposefully shut my door for that reason XD;

Yeah, that would probably upset me too. I kept my door closed when I lived with my dad just because my room was so messy and dad would complain if he saw it... but if the door was closed he didn't say anything. xD

I get freaked out by closed doors in my house. WHAT IF THERE'S A MURDERER!??

Yeah, my mom complains about my organized mess too.... bollucks. It's my room (course she says it's not and she can kick me out whenever she wants if I don't obey her. Double bollucks).

Hahaha -- I keep my mostly shut because I'm afraid I'll get trapped in the room if it's shut -- I've had doors that would open after they got shut because my cousin locked them from the outside before, and because the door got jammed T_T
It was traumatizing enough to where I get petrified and nervous is doors are completely shut XD;
Other than the ones leading outside -- they need to be shut tight and locked XD <3

I mean, unless your mess is attracting bugs. Then it's understandable. My housemate's messes attract bugs. :gonk:

I'm so antsy. I get to travel tomorrow finally, but we have to jump-start my car and pray it doesn't die on the way to our destination. Once we get it there it's no big deal though, since my uncle said he'd take it in to the dealership he works at. Hooray for getting cars fixed! Boo for paying to get cars fixed!
