BAHHUMBAG!
*Throws candy at you to get you off her lawn*

Yeah. it's pretty nice, and a nice wet and rainy christmas too.

secretdae007 12-26-2010 12:08 AM

-wanders back in- The family just left and now the little brother and I are watching Kung Fu Panda. ^_^

AkashaHeartilly 12-26-2010 12:13 AM

Still haven;t seen that movie.
Family is just being lazy currently.

MintyRey 12-26-2010 12:14 AM

Man, I wish I could watch Kung Fu Panda. Even though I've watched it before, I don't remember much of it :P

secretdae007 12-26-2010 12:17 AM

Akasha: I've never seen it before now.

MintyRey: We're going between that and a Christmas Story. So not really watching it in its entirety.

Sparklypoo 12-26-2010 12:17 AM

LOL AKASHA. XDD

*noms candy*

ooh,that's nice! xD

MintyRey 12-26-2010 12:24 AM

@dae: I see. Hope you enjoy both movies then :)

AkashaHeartilly 12-26-2010 12:35 AM

Working at Suncoast killed any love i had for A Christmas Story, I watched that movie far too much and now it's pure hate.
Candy is pretty awesome, homemade candy even more so, *noms a bunch of homemade fudge and cashew brittle*

secretdae007 12-26-2010 12:42 AM

MintyRey: A Christmas Story is kind of old to me at this point. I could live without it.

Akasha: That stinks. Though one year, we almost gave one of my brother's the leg lamp and I remember seeing it in a Suncoast.

AkashaHeartilly 12-26-2010 12:53 AM

Yeah, I think they sell the leg lamps at walgreens now, and well, bitterness to that movie. I'm not that found of christmas movies, though a friend just pointed out that Die Hard is a christmas movie, with lots of spolsions!

secretdae007 12-26-2010 01:05 AM

Akasha: I have heard about that with Die Hard. I'd rather watch Frosty or Rudolph though.

AkashaHeartilly 12-26-2010 01:12 AM

The old claymation rudolp freaks me out now, and would rather have Die Hard. Though the mythbusters marathon is pretty awesome.

I've gotten into a debate about James Cameron's Avatar again. Colonel Quaritch was an epic fail on James Cameron's part, as in, he was meant to be a monster on par with Hitler and Stalin, but he ended up being seen as a badass loved by many, if not all- Especially by the people who disliked the Na'vi, like me.

AkashaHeartilly 12-26-2010 01:23 AM

Still have not watched Avatar. Never looked interesting to me and no one I know was impressed o would recommend it, except for 2 people I know but they have shitty taste in everything else.

Kalium 12-26-2010 01:44 AM

That sounds... Oddly fitting. I HATE beings portrayed as superior to humanity in every which way, and the Na'vi were certainly like that. Humans in the movie were portrayed as racist and arrogant, but the Na'vi were so utterly lacking in empathy that they came off looking every bit as arrogant and racist as the humans. They never emphatised with humans, even as their enemies, so as to comprehend why they were the way they were. And "there was no conflict between different Na'vi tribes", my arse! To my knowledge, Native American tribes fought one another as often as they fought the White settlers. They don't curbstomp humans, their sapient planet does; a sapient planet which prefers to baby the things that live on it. Watching this movie made me appreciate the endless need for innovation that makes up the human nature. Don't the Na'vi wonder how their planet actually works?
... Sorry, thinking about a movie with such a ham-fisted message always makes me rant like this.

MintyRey 12-26-2010 03:01 AM

Lol, well..at least the special effects were cool?

secretdae007 12-26-2010 03:20 AM

I went for the special effects... Which were not worth seeing it in 3-D unfortunately.

monstahh` 12-26-2010 03:49 AM

I keep getting ignored in the thread I was hanging out in, boo. :(

MintyRey 12-26-2010 04:11 AM

That's not very nice 0_o Which thread is that?

Sparklypoo 12-26-2010 05:21 AM

@Mon: aww. that's no nice. D:

*offers blue odd looking cookies* to cheer you up.C:

Esmereina 12-26-2010 06:54 AM

Aww...I am sure it isn't intentional, Mon.

I get ignored a lot in fast paced threads. Sometimes I get ignored in really slow threads too.

Moderate threads are usually the best ones and I am less likely to get ignored in. ^_^

Drop Bear 12-26-2010 08:14 AM

If youre being ignored, post something weird and quirky that makes everyone go WTF? and then BAM! Youre in! ;)

secretdae007 12-26-2010 02:52 PM

I haven't been posting enough to really be ignored I guess. ^_^; It's ok Abbi. During events, that seems to happen a lot.

Kalium 12-26-2010 07:12 PM

I can't find stuff to post much-period. I'm a lurker by nature, that's why I feel the need to "cheat" to make gold by buying a CI and then selling it in the exchange right away.

monstahh` 12-26-2010 07:14 PM

Avatar was actually a wonderful movie, cheesy as all hell, but very well done. :)
