Sorry I haven't been on lately...between family over the weekend...and then working insane hours that I am not used to as well as not enough sleep....well...I just haven't been on because of it all.

Well...I think I am done with work for now...until I have to come back to do a whole month's worth of birthday club postcards. XD

So, I should have it easy hopefully until the semester starts on janurary 20th.

I'm staying at home tonight! Like normal. XD Although, one new years I would like to go out and chill and get drunk for new years....just to try it...but I'd have to find someone willing to come with me that would drive me. XD

Well...it's the new year and it is saturday and I didn't have to go to work...I slept in till 11, have some pancakes, got online, watched some tv, took a nap, and now I am back online...but I am cold...so I may turn on my electric heater. :D

It has been a very quiet day here.
I am actually thinking of starting the fire, and then sitting down in front of the TV with my knitting.

Sounds warm. We don't have a fireplace...my dad has two but he only lights the one in the basement and it will get too hot down there. :/

I can't knit...never attempted it...I can barely crochet though. XD

I find knitting very relaxing.

But it's a bit late. My husband is getting supper ready now...

We have a gas fireplace.
The logs are ceramic, so it isn't difficult to light. I do wish it had a remote though.

My grandparents have a gas one in their basement. I prefer the real thing...but it wrecks havoc on my nose if I stay down there too long.

We aren't having anything special. In fact it's a smorgasbord of leftovers.

Leftovers are good! Provided they are good leftovers and you aren't sick of eating what the leftovers are. XD

I don't know what I will be having for dinner. I'm hungry now...but I don't want to fix anything and I've done asked my mom twice what's for dinner and she just says "I don't know" so I'm hoping that means she will fix something for dinner.

This is going to be leftover chicken marinara, salmon, and pork roast.
Just like going to a buffet!
